  1. a mr. perfect wannabe stunt?

remember... mr. perfect was very proud then that no one can break the perfect-flex... it is the same thing with masters and his masterlock - full-nelson submission... the same finishing move of ken patera and billy jack haynes...

wat do u ppl think of this chris masters guy?

i wonder, how many buckets of roids and fat burners does it take to maintain that bod year-round? hehe.....

  2. van bommel going to barca?...

and philip cocu is being wooed by ac milan...

    what will happen to psv?

btw... cska moscow won the uefa cup...

  3. from luc besson's "the professional"...

Shape of my Heart - Sting

He deals the cards as a meditation

And those he plays never suspect

He doesn’t play for the money he wins

He doesn’t play for the respect

He deals the cards to find the answer

    The sacred geometry of chance

The hidden law of probable outcome

    The numbers lead a dance

I know that the spades are the swords of a soldier

I know that the clubs are weapons of war

I know that diamonds mean money for this art

But that’s not the shape of my heart

He may play the jack of diamonds

He may lay the queen of spades

He may conceal a king in his hand

While the memory of it fades

I know that the spades are the swords of a soldier

I know that the clubs are weapons of war

I know that diamonds mean money for this art

But that’s not the shape of my heart

That’s not the shape, the shape of my heart

And if I told you that I loved you

You’d maybe think there’s something wrong

I’m not a man of too many faces

The mask I wear is one

    Those who speak know nothing

And find out to their cost

Like those who curse their luck in too many places

And those who smile are lost

I know that the spades are the swords of a soldier

I know that the clubs are weapons of war

I know that diamonds mean money for this art

But that’s not the shape of my heart

That’s not the shape of my heart

exactly my point... kung bibigyan nila ng storyline si monty brown sa wwe (which would be race-oriented, probably), sana sila ahmed johnson na lang (who is taller and nastier looking) or yung si farooq (which worked out well being the leader of the nation of domination)...

  5. well... man utd is more embedded in the hearts of english football fans because of its rich history compared to chelsea...

roman ambramovich has this certain charisma among fans... he instilled life to a then struggling chelsea side... plus he is a european...

aside from the tradition issue... isn't it obvious that glazer is a victim of the growing resentment among europeans to things related to the US...

    hahahaha!

May isa pang nakakatawa dun.  I forgot her name na.  Basta she looks every inch a butch at yung entrance niya eh nakasakay siya sa big bike.  What's her name nga?

There's another one, Jane Blonde yata yun.  Kunyari female alter ego ni James Bond.

    Tas may Poison pa yata.

And I do remember the beach patrol. :D

'di ba may injury si tazz kaya 'di na s'ya active sa wrestling?... at bakit hindi nagpatuloy si sabu sa wwe...?

re: luther reigns... buti naman at may business na s'ya... at may pagkukuhanan din s'ya ng ikabubuhay aside from wrestling... unlike jake "the snake" roberts...

"ECW alumni who are working for TNA won't be involved in the WWE ECW PPV"

  7. business is business... even if man utd is already a sporting institution... it is considered as a business since its conception...

it seems that the fans doesn't want malcolm glazer because he is an american...

Glazer controls somewhere 75% of MU. And the fans don't like it.

:cat:

  10. it makes the game a little more tense... producing a number of heart-seizure patients...

i think football would be better off without the away goals rule..  <_<

regarding the liverpool-chelsea match... if chelsea scored during stoppage time... hell would surely break loose... the SIX extra minutes added was too much...

i'm not sure but i think in the copa libertadores (south america's champions league) there is no away goals rule.

the away goals rule does seem unfair, but u gotta admit it brings a whole load of excitement. just like in the liverpool-chelsea tie: if chelsea scores they go through, if not they get eliminated. that's why till the whistle was blown, fingernails were being chewed off.

  11. what the f@#$!!!

i immediately jumped out of my seat after i read damaso's first post regarding psv's lead in the 70th...

but my heart suddenly broke after i read the next post... milan scoring in during the stoppage time...

how i wish that i watched the game... :(

  12. saw the match awhile ago... and i must say that liverpool played a tough defensive game and they deserve to win... despite their mediocrity in the domestic flight... i was expecting liverpool to sport a 4-4-2 alignment with milan baros and fernando morientes up front... rafael benitez wants to control the game so he had the 4-5-1 alignment... baros as the lone striker with steven gerrard behind and luis garcia and jan arne riise at the flanks...

luis garcia's goal in the 4th from a rebound off baros' try that was blocked by peter cech is debatable... but it was a spectacle that brought the anfield crowd up on their feet... even the commentators couldn't believe it... it seems that luis garcia is a the good luck charm for liverpool... just like morientes was for monaco last year...

imho... chelsea played the game very flat... didier drogba was a total bust and was inconsistent all through out the game... jose mourinho should had made the necessary tinkering during the first half... eidur gudjohnsen and frank lampard had their share of good chances to strike a goal but luck was not on their side... even the inclusion of the dutch combo of mateja kezman and arjen robben was not even enough to change the tide of the game... i pity robben for he was forced to play despite not being fit... i agree with what the commentator said about having mikael forsell play instead of robben since forsell is almost unknown among liverpool defenders thus offering an element of surprise... john terry's header that was badly cleared by jerzy dudek which ended in gudjohnsen's foot was the climax of the game... if the goal went in - chaos will rip anfield...

in the end... i found myself singing "you'll never walk alone"... with my two fists raised up... :cat:

    uefa champions league semifinal result:

liverpool 1 chelsea 0 (1-0 aggregate, liverpool advances)

i'm beginning to believe this "tradition and history will tell" stuff. on paper, liverpool, who are over 30pts behind chelsea in the premiership, had no right to upstage the newly crowned english champions. but they did on another great night of european football. the atmosphere at anfield was electrifying. and the team of the 70s turned back time to defeat the team of the future.

the goal was not the prettiest. but i thought it did go over the line. anyway, if it did not, a penalty would have been awarded. and after that, liverpool just shut out chelsea. and it was all heart and commitment. it was a very tense affair. even alone in my living room, watching the match on tv, i had to stand for the last 10 minutes. my knees went weak when gudjohnsen was presented that chance at the very end. but liverpool survived, and deservedly so.

i was rooting for liverpool because i thought mourinho was a jackass. but he did show some class after the match, congratulating every single liverpool player. must be bittersweet for chelsea, who just days ago won the premiership. still, with owner abramovich's billions, the champions league is not far away.

all in all, it was an exciting 90 minutes of football. only the european stage can set that kind of atmosphere...

  13. even bolton wanderers is still in the race... the faint hope lies if they win against portsmouth (05/07)... if everton losses against newcastle and arsenal... and liverpool losing to arsenal... then the deciding match will be on the 15th against everton...

  14. made a quick browse at the epl fixture...

the battle for fourth place is still on with everton having 3 matches remaining - newcastle united (05/07), arsenal (05/11), and bolton wanderers (05/15)...

liverpool has 2 matches remaining - arsenal (05/08) and aston villa (05/15)

it looks like arsene wegner's arsenal will play a vital factor in deciding who will snag the last champion's league seat...
