some motorcycle trivia:

ony 1% of all reported accidents in the Philippines for the year 2000 are motorcycle-related.

over 30% are Truck/bus related.

so, statistically speaking, the motorcycle is the safest form of transportation! :boo:

on the other hand, you are 16 times more likely to die in a motorcycle accident than in a car accident. :cry:

in other words, you are less likely to get into an accident on a bike. but when you do, it will most likely be you last.

CBR: ok na rin yung CBR nc23. first time ko sa BRC may kasama kami na naka nc23. kahit siya yung pinaka maliit na bike, siya rin yung pinaka mabilis sa track. nasa nagdadala iyan. but of course, the nc29 s-frame's design and suspension is better.

Try painitng your bike in the Nastro Azzurro yellow/white/blue color scheme or maybe the Repsol/Honda orange/blue/white color scheme. para Rossi-ng Rossi ang dating! hanap ako ng pics sa net post ko dito yung address. gandaahhh!

The tagaytay ride sounds interesting... maybe we could put it off till i have my bike's registration renewed. Till then, hanggang makati-fort-rockwell lang bike ko.

S-frame ba CBR mo? if i were to get a 400cc sport bike, the CBR 400rr nc29 s-frame would be it. if you're looking for a place to have your bike painted, try medy's paint shop. i forgot the exact name of the establishment but but it's near RKP bike shop on pasong tamo. not exactly cheap, pero magaling. another option would be the paint shop on vito cruz ext. (between south ave. and zapote ave. near south cemetery). again, i foget the exact name of the place but they do pretty good work for the price. hope this helps.

hey, guys! i have a question for everyone...

what's your dreambike?

mine would be a ducati 916 senna. it's kinda old but very rare, only about 300 of them were ever made and only one was imported to manila. the owner is a neighbor of mine and damn, inggit ako.

what about you guys?

the BMW R1200C phoenix. nice and smooth. my dad got one and he rides it occasionally. i don't like it though. it's a little too smooth and quiet for me. the engine whines like a singer sewing machine. free-flowing pipes would make it a bit more noisier, but getting aftermarket pipes for the beemer is just too difficult.

great idea. My regular hangout. coffee good... and it's a lot safer area for the bikes in my opinion. i don't trust the malate/roxas area. Too many cops looking for a quick buck too.

i guess people here are more interested in seeing the bikes rather than the rider. lolz. no matter, set an EB at Rockwell or the fort and i'll be sure to be on a bike. but for this particular EB, i'd have to be in my cage (i.e. car).
