  1. I've finally got some pics of part of my collection. Please excuse the blur. I'm sill trying to figure out how to use the wife's camera in the best way possible. Hehehe.

They're just snapbuilt for now. Planning on painting them later. Looking forward to painting the Hyaku-Shiki.

First set is the Hyaku-Shiki, Second is the Zero Type Wing, Then the F90 and Finally, the Crossbones Gundam X2.

Later na lang yung iba pa. Hehehe.

    Dude, Don't forget www.thepiratebay.com.

i used to do this but i stopped, nagkakalat lang daw ako sabi ng boyfriend ko. hahaha.

Cmon, I think any girl who'd be into Origami would be kewl. He just doesn't get it.

    -------------------------

You can never measure the value of the art if it brings joy to others and at some chances, even inspire them. A few times it happened to me or rather through me.

One of my officemates brought her kids to work. The kids were obviously bored and was pestering their mom about it. I called them over and made them each an origami Raptor Fighter Plane I learned in www.instructables.com. The best part is that it barely took me around 7 minutes.

They were astounded. It was as if I was doing a magic show.

Their eyes widened when they saw that I could turn two sheets of used up A4 scratch paper into something they never imagined was possible. Well, too bad I had work to be done. Otherwise, I could've taught them personally how to make them. Instead, I just gave them the website so they could explore more.

I remember going to my relatives' place bringing the same paper airplanes to the li'l cousins to play with. instead of playing with it, they admired it too much that they disregarded the fact that they can fly (aside from being unbelievably realistic in a sense) and just looked at them with admiration. Later on, it ended up on the display case, along with their other toys on the display, where everybody could see. Too bad they couldn't keep up with the instructions and I had no time to really get into teaching them.

Another special moment was way back then. I don't remember how young I was when I learned how to make paper cranes. I gor a bit good at it that I used to be able to make one using a (roughly) 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm piece of paper.

There was this kid who was intrigued by it so he asked me to teach him and I did (since I got nothing to do back then).

A few days later, He could make paper cranes on a (roughly) 1 cm x 1 cm piece of paper. Imagine that.

Too bad the agility on the fingers has escaped my grasp with age.

Kewl.

    -------------------------

I'm still downloading the game hoping its good. Hehehe.

  4. Naglalagablab! - Rikku as a Black mage casting "Fire", FFX-2

Believe it or not, i spent a whole night listening. I can't find any other phrase to match the line she says every time she casts fire. Please update me if you do find a better phrase for it. Maybe its an "Al-Bhed" phrase. hehehe.

  5. gaganda ng mga models nio.

i have one. freedom + meteor unit.

I wanted to save up for it kaso nauuwi sa inom ang budget. Hehehe.

  6. Summer na! Fishing time na. To scratch the itch, wet your line at the ponds in Valenzuela, or check out Apalit or Lakeshore Pampanga. Or better yet, get on a banca and fish. Pundakit Zambales has been kind to me. Have never gone home without a catch.

Dude, saan ba sa Valenzuela? Friendly ba mga tao dun? Newbie lang kasi kami ng Wife ko. Would like to try this out.

  7. I see. . . But still, I could use it for such function, right?

By the way, I got a crossbones XM-X2 Gundam (baby type) and a left over Black Bosny spray paint. I've been thinking of a Black X-2. D'you think its better if I practice with it first?

  8. Try the Tamiya Air Compressor+Air Brush for 5.6k at Lils Hobby Center. The branches are Trinoma, Megamall and Park Square 1.

For the Gundam kits, you can always go to Greenhills for lower priced kits.

Kewl. I'll keep that in mind as I try to save up. Eto rin ba yung ginagamit sa air-art?

Hmm, greenhills. . . Thanks.

I think I'll focus on the first five kits I have already assembled. They make me wanna improve them. Hehehe. Will post pics if I remember to take pics. hehehe.

    Kewl! :thumbsupsmiley: Very Inspiring.

  9. If you are comfortable with masking, spray paint is alright but it's very hard to control, so doing the masks right is critical. On the other hand getting an airbrush is a big investment and you will also need a source of air, but nothing beats the control and effects available thru an airbrush, especially on a double-action airbrush.

We went to SM North last Friday and I remembered about STC. (or was that STS-Special Toy Shoppe) at the basement. Upon entering, I immediately asked if they carry Gundam G-Generation model kits. I was partly surprised to latter see they also carry them but they were in the lower shelves at the back so they're probably not the best selling items. Anyway, they're the only model kits I could afford at the moment. hehehe.

I went ahead and bought the Zaku Mk III Custom. I looked at the other models and saw some pretty interesting ones but it wasn't a promising collection. I guess I'd have to look somewhere else.

I also asked if they have air brushes. They say its worth 3,500. I saw another one in the same shelf selling for 6,500. Its really steep for me. Anyone selling second hand air brushes? Hehehe.

Hmm, source of air... So, I'll be needing a compressor, huh? Any other cheaper alternatives?

I also saw lotsa kits there which were water damaged (no box) but still seems to be good stuff. The trouble is that even if they're marked down 20%, I still would find a hard time affording them. hehehe.

Any idea how much the model planes cost? (Like the Hornet.) I've got my eyes on those but wee afraid of being blasted away with the price tag. hehehe.

  10. Just started collecting G-Generation Series Gundam Model Kits. Yung mga pandak. Cute kasi eh... Mura pa. I'll be porting pics after I take pics. Hehehe. Been thinking of ways I can improve them though. The only things I can think to be feasible enough for now is the sanding then painting of parts then painting on the designs instead of using the stickers.

Anyone with a second hand air brush?

  11. they say that there is a formula like "weight x speed = power" So being skinny, you could move faster, therefore, having the same power as those with bulky opponents who are usually slow compared to the skinny ones.

Believe me. Its harder to land a hit on a skinny bloke than on a fat b@stard.

  12. Anybody tried fly-fishing? Applicable ba 'to dito sa Pilipinas?

I've seen some equipment at Chris Sports but have no idea as to what most of them are for. Can anybody suggest a website for such things?

Also, baka meron ditong fishing club na pwede salihan. Hehehe.

  13. my 320 gb seagate external portable drive just blinks (green led bulb) and emits beeping sound when plugged to my pc and does not show as a drive, when I tried to return it for exchange the clerk tested it in their pc and it worked just fine so they did not exchange it.. when I went home the same problem is still existing no drive is read.. help pls.

If you're connecting it to a USB port at the front of your CPU, try connecting it to a USB port at the back.

    Let's see what happens.

  14. i would like to ask some tips on how to prevent dead pixels and hinge breakage sa laptop po. I bought an Acer Aspire N280 (Brand New) since my old laptop had a dead pixel and broken hinge already.. :thumbsupsmiley:

Just be careful not to open and close your monitor in a fast motion. Very common na yung broken hinges eh.

It could be caused by overexposure to moisture especially when subjected to heat immediately afterwards. Just avoid that. Tsaka avoid getting anything hard to hit the monitor screen. Sometimes, it causes small black spots na lumalaki habang tumatagal kapag minalas ka. hehehe.

  15. Dude, sometimes it helps to research ahead on the brands you wanna buy especially if its printers. You could view the detailed specs on the company's websites.

Since you already bought the printer, that's another case. But its how I do my shopping. That way, I end up knowing more about the product than the salesman himself.

We gotta face it. Even big companies have crappy salesmen who would lie and give you a pile of bull just to sell and meet their quota.

Everytime some salesman gives me bull, I confront him right away telling him what he said is wrong. . . just so he knows that not every customer is computer illiterate.

but good luck with that case and I urge you to keep pushing for it. These companies ought to be taught a lesson or two.

anyways back to the topic, are you sure that your mmc is original? kasi pag peke madalas magtopak

this issue never (and hopefully) happened to my unit.

now thats odd, minsan akin din ganon, naka stand-by lang akin then after waking up in the morning, pansin bawas na kagad ng 1-2 bars un bat ko...

Places... anywhere... Bus going home while watching District 9. Usual hang-outs, low-end clubs. And hear this: My phone now has a Girlfriend. Hehehe. Seriously. It felt really weird. its as if my phone has appeal and I don't. XD.

My MMC, I think, is an original Nokia. It has been an issue worldwide and the earliest case I've heard of Nokia MMCs acting up is from an N95. I'd really recommend bying a Kingston MMC to replace the Nokia MMC.

    ----------------------------------------------

Di pa naman nangyari sa akin na na drain mg mabilis yung battery except when I leave applications running in the background.

  17. Usually, I just resize the pics with the built in pic editor. I jsut choose to crop it as a wallpaper and the phone automatically sets the dimensions. I just have to control the cropping area and the zoom level if needed.

I haven't had any troubles like that yet.

Have you tried using the method I just said? Maybe that'd solve your problem.

  18. na reformat mo ba using the same xp installer cd? if not, the laptop probably has a sata hdisk running in native mode; in which case, try fiddling around with the bios settings to disable sata native mode or enable ide mode or something to that effect. hth!

Nope, I connected it to the USB port using an external sata to usb cable then reformatted it using windows. (as if it was an external HDD). Then I re inserted the HDD to the original laptop then began the reformatting procedures. Everythign goes fine until the error message I mentioned earlier appears. Its just puzzling why it would start loading then say there's no hard disk when half way thru.

You need to integrate an ICH9 Driver to your Windows XP Installer. I'll bet that the laptop you're trying to downgrade to XP is using Windows Vista. :goatee:

Hmm, no, it was originally installed with Windows XP. I just reformatted it so I could re-install XP.

    -------------------------------------

Thanks Maesters but I'm afraid the client has lost faith and took it to someone who repairs for a fee. What's even more puzzling is that they didn't find anything wrong. But they installed a windows Vista Home edition OS.

Let's just let her suffer the sudden slow-down of her Laptop. Her memory was good but the processor isn't fast enough. now, she's complaining that Her laptop is slower than what it was before. Hehehe.
