Just a thought though not really necessary to include into the history books...

 

The time a while back when we still suffered DDos attacks (Prolly from competitor forums who wants to try and steal page views)

And I do remember two women using MA and ma as nicknames. I wonder where they went. I even saved a copy of that Birthday pic. . . ILY MA, don't be hatin'.

With all the pressure of competing, yes, sometimes the simplest ways of botting is required. But otherwise, there are the unconventional methods.

What I did was to move to a private server. Used to be on Mid-Rate but now, I'm on a High Rate.

So I don't really have to grind that much. Higher drop rates meant less time of farming and grinding.

Then there are Custom servers. (Like what I am on now. Custom Server with High Rates.) SOme custom items make the grinding even easier. Just strap everything up onto a Wiz, make sure @autolootid is set up and keep spamming AoE's in the Gold farming room and it's supplies and miscellaneous farming on the express.

Of course you'd have to adjust to the gameplay since it's really faster than on a 1x1x1 standard server but since lack of time is the thing that hinders us, I think this would be the perfect solution.

 

No trolling please. Just my two cents' worth.

Another thing I remembered was this High School Case where a certain student was advised by one of his classmates to get "professional help". The Classmate thinks the guy really needed it.

basta ang masasabi ko lang, if you have options to try out a witch doctor, then you may do so. but do not forget to prioritize asking a medical doctor first and understand what happened before doing something eccentric.

So, the best thing to do in most cases is to try both a licensed doctor and a witch doctor if still in doubt.

The local witch doctor says her 'legs' were cut off by a duwende, and also possessed by it.

 

Dude... This one case sounds awfully similar to my case. Have her checked up by a real doctor. Baka Rheumatic Fever na yan. Pag di maaagapan, pwede maging Rheumatic Heart.

 

Pero just in case, para mas malinaw, ang naging symptoms ko noon, Batang bata pa ako, nirarayuma na ako ng walang malinaw na dahilan. May mga pagkakataong ni hindi man lang ako makatayo at sa sobrang sakit at dahil di ko matanggap na para akong biglang nalulumpo, talagang sumisigaw ako.

 

At pawala wala yung sakit na nararamdaman ko. Pwedeng magpahinga for a time yung symptoms tapos bigla na lang sasakit ulit.

 

Ang masama, di nila ako agad pinatingnan sa Doktor. Puro sa kung sinu sinong albularyo na puro naman pala peke kahit maganda ang mga reputasyon. Lahat sila, sabi, dwende daw.

 

Eto, sa sobrang tindi ng stress na inabot ng joints ko bago maganot ng tama, nagkaroon ako ng tissue damage sa mga cartilage ko. Halos naging permanent na rayuma ko.

 

Di naman lahat ng weird cases, albularyo nakakaalam. Pag nagdedelikado na buhay ng pasyente, sasabihan din naman nila na dalhin sa ospital.

 

Pero kung mamatay nga na nasa pangangalaga nila, ano sasabihin? "Malakas ang kalaban?" "Kulang pananampalataya niyo."? Think about it.

Anyway, here's my experience:

 

I tried setting up my Paypal using an "Online banking" activated Chinabank ATM Savings Account. It was successfully linked but I still can't load up funds to my Paypal.

 

But since that (Bank) account was registered under my Room Mate's (Wife) name, I had to name the Paypal account to her.

 

So, can I just apply for my own Unionbank EOS Debit Card then register my own Paypal? Would this let me Send and receive funds as well as make online purchases?

ok. here are my thoughts ---

 

1. I am not in the position to judge the other MD. He has seen the patient and I have not. But one thing is sure - we do need additional tests for this - a scout film of the abdomen is one, if intestinal obstruction is to be ruled out (for the record, We make an initial diagnosis of intestinal obstruction based on physical exam findings. ) .

 

2. Based on the facts that you gave, Intestinal obstruction is a possibility. This is considered as an emergency, and emergency consult with an MD, preferably either with a surgeon or a gastroenterologist, is highly recommended. Im concerned about the severity and length of duration of the pain, as you have described, and swelling and all. There is no such thing as a fixed schedule but in characterizing abdominal pains, we do consider the onset in relation to food intake, in relation to a host of other symptoms, etc......

 

3. Another consideration is diabetic gastropathy, as we call it. Its a complication of long-standing diabetes and involves general bowel movement, resulting in constipation. But rarely does this cause severe abdominal pains. How do we diagnose it? As the name implies, we see it in diabetic, elderly patients with no pathologic cause of constipation (that is no identifiable anatomic cause, as seen in colonoscopy).

 

 

 

Bottomline, either you tell him to proceed with the tests ASAP, and go back to the first doctor (make sure it is the right specialty), or you can consult another one. Patients are always entitled to second, third opinions, remember that.

 

 

 

By the word WE in my answer, i mean licensed MD's, who have undergone proper schooling and years of residency/fellowship training and are duly certified diplomates of their respective specialties. NON-LICENSED MD''s DISPENSING MEDICAL ADVICE is another story.

 

Thank you very much for these much valued info. It would help me convince him to get a second opinion. There are things about this case which I think should only be discussed through PM due to its nature I'll try not to disclose more than what is needed to avoid dispute amongst posters.

Anyway, here are some replies to some other things you mentioned:

 

* His Doctor is a Surgeon. The one who operated on his hernia. The tests are scheduled but my friend just doesn't remember what tests were scheduled.

 

* I think his Doctor might have been thinking of Diabetic Gastropathy too since the first test he recommended was an FBS (Fasting Blood Sugar) which resulted with a Normal value. And he isn't suffering from any irregular bowel movements.

 

* I did tell him to consult first a duly licensed doctor when he asked me for help. . . And he did the next day. That's when the Doc laughed it off. He thought it was bull since my friend wasn't bloated when he had his check-up. And I did suggest he get a second opinion. Hopefully, when he sees our conversation here, maybe this would convince him to do so.

I hope someone could give us some enlightenment regarding a certain matter.

 

I have a friend who is suffering from occassional bloating of the general belly region accompanied by intense wrenching pain. He has seen his Doctor but sadly, the Doctor Laughed it off but scheduled for some tests just to be sure.

 

We are doubting his Doctor he probably thinks it's bull.

 

Anyway, here is his story and the symptoms. These might sound weird.

 

He had an operation to cure his hernia about four months ago. He is Diabetic but he said the wounds from the surgery healed up after one week or less. Lately, he's been experiencing this swelling of his belly. Too much swelling that sometimes, his bellybutton pops out.

 

I told him to record the time when it occurs and when it subsides. The weird thing is that the symptoms seem to be following a pattern. The most often time it starts is either 7AM or 7PM. Usually once in the Morning and once in the evening. Usually, the occurrences last from 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

 

Is there really some condition like this that follows a schedule?

 

Also, whenever his belly is bloated, it makes a sound when you hit it. Like as if it's just gas. The other puzzle is that whenever it subsides, he doesn't even burp nor fart. It's as if the gas is gone and as if nothing happened.

 

Anybody encountered this before?

I bought this MSI EX460 last month.

 

I was hunting for a Laptop with the specs I wanted and would suit my needs. I'd have bought a desktop PC but was afraid of the electric bills it would provide me with plus i didn't have enough space for a Desktop PC.

 

The first candidates was a Dell (with a free Deskjet Printer and an Acer (with a free low-end Samsung Phone). I was bent on getting the Acer against my will (I have developed lack of trust with Acer due to the defects in the casings of its earlier models. Around Year 2000, their laptops' casings would crack by itself even if you're really careful in handling them. I'd say cheap materials for over-priced laptops. They countered this by changing the material they use but I couldn't easily remove my distrust.) because it had slightly better specs than the Dell.

 

The problem was that I was short of money and had to go to the nearest ATM Machine. They pointed me out on the wrong direction. Thus, I was able to stumble upon the demo units of MSI. I examined the specs and they were better than the earlier choices. But I only got a 500 peso discount and a free mouse.

 

It was worth every penny and more. I haven't handled any laptop like this which I could tame to my exact likings. Plus, its quite durable. I've accidentally dropped it once but there was barely a scratch and there wasn't any decrease in functionality and performance.

 

Pagkapulot ko, tuloy pa rin ako sa ginagawa ko.

 

I'd say I got more than what I bargained for. Sinubukan kong kunan ng pics at nun ko lang napansin na napaka photogenic pala nung laptop na yon. Hehehe.

 

But for you, Saer Butchocoi, I'd recommend a netbook with a port for the projector. I rememeber the saleslady telling me they had an MSI Netbook selling for only 15K.

 

The only drawback is that it doesn't have an optical drive. But that can easily be countered by buying an external DVD R/W Drive. I think CD-R King carries one of those which comes in a surprisingly pleasant price tag.

 

Another alternative would be NEO. The "Basic" Series come with very friendly price tags but could be considered an eyesore if compared side by side with higher priced brands. If you only want functionality and are willing to sacrifice beauty, NEO is the way to be. may Netbook din yata sila. Kaso lang, kung 15K or more din naman ang price tag, I suggest you go for the 15K MSI Netbook I mentioned earlier.

sa akin ung myphone is still ok pa din. no problem naman sa charger. battery complaint? guess what? i just ask from sony service center how much ang extra batt nila... 240 pesos lang!!!! yup 240!!!! not 2.4k ha 240!!! and best of all.... free net!!!! nyahahaha ung torque does not recognized .jar extension files. sulit talaga QT23 DUO. from what i heard they are releasing a qt series with WIFI but useless un sa akin got free net eh. read my signature. hehehe

I used to have a Wi-fi phone. Kaso nawala na. Anyway, I'm now using a Torque DL85. Wag nyo na subukang bumili nito. Buti sana kung mabagal lang memory. (like the earlier example na tapos ka na magtext tsaka pa lang mabubuo sinusulat mo.) At least, sa case na yon, nabubuo pa. Dito sa DL85, gumugulo pa spelling nung latter parts ng message. Para bang kinapops na talaga ng ram kaya di na nakuha ibang keypresses mo pero tuloy lang siya ng pag process.

 

Tapos, napakahirap pa pindutin ng keypad. Natagalan talaga ako dito bago ako nasanay.

 

I wasn't really planning on buying this one. It was a gift from my wife. Di ko naman pwede tanggihan at malamang magiging away yon. Kaya eto, I'm stuck using this phone until it breaks. Bummer.

 

Pero ok naman ang dual sim functionality niya.

 

Yun nga lang, pag binasa mo yung manual, andaming features na hindi existent sa unit. For example, sabi sa manual, nakakapag play daw ito ng MP4 files. Di naman ma recognize. Nakakapag record daw directly from the radio. Di namna kaya.

 

Tapos, ansama pa ng quality ng pictures niya. 1.3 MP ang cam niya pero anlayo ng quality sa ibang 1.3 MP na nahawakan ko.

Plus the quality of the plastic used. Original kits from Bandai would snap off without the aid of any tools. You simply have to twist it free.

 

I once bought a bootleg kit out of curiosity. What happened was that it had some parts damaged while removing from the frame because the material used was cheap.

 

And Dude, it was one real faker. It even had the Bandai Logo on it. . . but that was around ten or more years ago. Copyright issues could've been enforced. Wala na ako makitang ganon ngayon eh. hehehe.

Dude, you could try to find Second hand Aquariums. Some would go dirt cheap especially if the owner is planning to quit the hobby. Sometimes, you could even see people giving away fish with the purchase of the aquarium. Kasi kung di na nga niya maaalagaan, mas mabuti pang ipamigay para may mag aalaga pa.

 

Sometimes, there's even bundled buy one take one aquariums, etc.
