tara laro tayo.
tribal lang para masaya. using 1 type of creatures lang. or yung mga classic builds.
anyone up for it ?
-

we play, i have lotsa fun decks. from beta to current.
hard to find gurls who can play MTG competitively.

First time meeting with your FUBU's dad :
"Ano intensyon mo sa anak ko?"
(try explaining the concept of FUBU to her dad)

only reason I can think why men hurt women physically is the 'bully complex'.
they are so insecure and mentally unbalanced that they express these traits by satisfying their need to reassert their manhood.
it doesn't matter whether the girl is physically violent or had character defects (the issue is not her), men can always walk away as a last resort.
i'm not also saying that hurting a woman physically will not cross your minds in the heat of the moment (clandestine fiasco, arguments, etc), but thinking and doing are two separate mental tasks, it doesn't segueue automatically.
no wisecracks either, conscious hurting is different from self-defense, way too different.
most woman beaters are actually just bullies who can't stand toe to toe with another equally (physically) sized man.

went to bohol last week of August stayed 1 night at Ananyana Resort and 1 night at Bohol Beach Club (i'm a regular client).
www.Ananyana.com pricey at USD 220 per night (lowest available room that weekend), the ambience is more on exclusivity, the rooms are worth the price anyway.

old school Takayama. :thumbsupsmiley:
i remember i used to frequent their Greenbelt branch (makati museum area corner) circa late 80's.
the reservation clerk knows me by my voice. I always call to reserve my fave table (near the windows close to the indoor falls), back then, haven't seen it jampacked full.
dragon boat and sake :thumbsupsmiley:

not a big fan of Italian cuisine but my wife is.
Carpaccio Ristorante Italiano so far is the closest authentic (in taste), even the Italian expats who frequents the place attest to this.
nice ambiance, mostly expat crowd. :thumbsupsmiley:
parking is crowded on a full day. must give tip to the streetboys to watch your car.

stayed last weekend at http://www.amarasanctuary.com/ .
http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d84/zyxomega/IMG_2176.jpg
pretty new place, good amenities, the fact that a few guests was there on the weekend is a big plus, gives you the ambience of exclusivity.
-
nevermind the fact that it consistently placed as top 10 dive spot destination in the world.
The opportunity to be in this heavenly place, non commercial but with all the convenient amenities of a clas A resort.
To be the only couple guest in this private cove is something very few people have experienced.

it will take a lot of logistics and 'tips' to enjoy this island paradise on your own (with your partner), but when all is done, nothing beats the experience. :thumbsupsmiley:

i agree, Panglao in Bohol is still the untouched paradise
hahahaha.
not anymore. I've been there regularly since 93, been to almost all resorts in Panglao, be it an uber exclusive resort or the common AAAs. there's still an untouched paradise in Bohol (beach), but not in Panglao.

thanks for the info , pero mahirap ata marating ito by land , pag by plane kaya , direcho dumaguete ba ,
just came from bohol , very nice place ,stayed in amorita , good service and nice hotel , planning for my next trip ,
by plane sana , ayaw ko ng long drive coz im with my kids , any suggestion ,btw hows the hotel in apo island hotel?
thanks , how can i get there contact no.? thanks
yea, dumaguete as the 'base' . go up to Tanjay/Bais for whale/dolphin watch, go central for valenci waterfalls/mountains, or go down south for zamboanguita, malatapay (jump off to Apo island).
last time i've been to Apo island was way back 2002, it's a small private cove-like beach. all info's are in their website. only place that can rival their underwater sights is the tubathata reef , that is not easily accesible for casual trips. will post new pix after our trip.
good to know you enjoyed Bohol, lotsa non-commercial, private/exclusive beaches there.
except for the newest resorts (built 2007-2008), i've been to all of them commercial ones. hehehehehe.

if you're a group, rent a van (around 3k/day). If travelling alone or couple, ask the hotel ure checking in (much cheaper).
but if you're the adventurist type, try the local commute, more fun. most tourist spots are easily accesible by public transport.
