  1. this sounds inviting. around how much is it going to cost and what is in the package in addition to the scuba gear? is there a place to stay on the island or is it necessary to pitch tent and camp?

i rented an island (off guimaras) for a weekend. it came with all meals and non-alcoholic drinks plus of course a couple of helping hands (to cook, clean, etc.). no scuba diving though.

depends on how many are you in the group. this is a 5+ hectare island btw, not just a small island like HINP islands. :)

there is a concrete house with 2 rooms with mezanine and roof deck (3rd floor).

    Pitching tent is still ideal.

You can reach Masbate via plane or port.

PM me for details. We can customize vacation/scuba trips to your budget.

  2. If it's your dream to rent a WHOLE island paradise for a day or a week, I can arrange it at a very reasonable rates.

White sand, marine sanctuary and isolation spells perfect getaway for couples or barkadas.

    Avila's Island of Masbate

no amenities just pure fun and adventure. Virgin island literally.

I can also arrange to have it ready with 4 full sets of SCUBA compete gears (3 tanks each) with chargers for an extra fee plus an outrigger banca to ferry you in & out of dive sites. (just to be safe BYO body suit).

You can hop to 4 different dive sites (Avila's Island marine sanctuary, Isla de Gato, Burias shipwreck, Mantay ray Ticao dive site, and San Miguel dive site).

3 hours away from Malapascua or 1:30 hrs by plane plus 2.5 hrs land trip.

  4. hi there.. need your help guys..

my gf and i are going to bohol this coming 15 to 17.. we'll arrive in tagbilaran before 10am.. we are planning to just go to a beach that afternoon and just swim, nothing else. then the next day is the tour around bohol. then on 17, we'll go to cebu.

can you give us some advice on where to check in? is it ok to chek in at panglao island along alona beach or anywhere there considering that we're not gonna spend alot of time at the beach?

or can we just check in around tagbilaran then just travel to panglao for the beach? if this is the case, is it safe to go to the beaches without checking in there? tapos, san naman kami malilgo dun at magbibihis pabalik sa tagbilaran? hehe

just need some input guys.. thanks.. :)

    15th noon to 16th noon

check in at Bohol Beach Club (3k to 5k a night)

    16th noon to 17th

check in at Bohol Tropics or the cheaper Coralandia in Tagbilaran, it's 5 mins away from the airport or pier. (walking distance na malayo). (1.2K to 2.5K a night)

try to arrange a tour on the 15th (for your 16th tour) to save moolah or rent a van for 3K.

if you want to check in at tagbilaran startin day 1, just rent a taxi and arrange it to pick you up later. (me thinks 1K back & forth).

go to dumaluan beach or 'public' BBC. It's beside BBC so same strip of fine white sand. 'Umbrella' nets you 300-500H.

  5. as i've said, the budget for a hk disney trip is almost the same as the budget if you go to a top notch philippine resort like borac, palawan, etc. Given only a single choice, where would you rather go? pros and cons...

go Palawan then, Coron/Busuanga side not the Puerto Princesa. mas iba pa rin dating ng nature, snorkeling with family, lounging at the resort, seeing your kids play in the sand.

HK Disneyland is, just a glorified EK. I've been to LA, Florida and HK Disneyland in that order, malayo ang HK sa 2.

baka naman mukha silang uto uto or promdi kaya inu uto ?

  7. I'll answer your question with a question.

Some people think love is just a made-up idea. Some don't even know what love means. So..

How do you know that you mean what you say when you don't even know what you're saying is true or existing in that case? anyway.. just a thought :P

parang hangin yan, you can't see it and you can't touch it, pero pag nawala apektado ka, windang agad buhaymo.

love is a commitment, di lang seks at emosyon.

when everything that you do is para sa kapakanan ng partner mo at ng future nyo together and maligaya ka na ginagawa mo ito, hindi na gawa gawa lang ito.

  8. ansama namang pakinggan WOMEN to AVOID.

lahat may idiosyncrasies pero karamihan kasi hanap mister or miss perfect, di tuloy magtagpo dalawang (girl & boy) na like mr. & miss perfect.

simple lang naman ang buhay, what you sow is what you reap, so kung lumigaw ka at nagkarelasyon sa akala mo e 'woman to avoid' tapos matigas pa rin ulo mo, e yun na. its your fault.

sa tutuo lang wala namang mang gamit kung walang mag papagamit. so kung inabuso or ina abuso kayo ng GF/BF nyo, isa lang ang isyu ... kayo.

lahat nadadaan sa mabuting usapan. everything boils down to effective and honest communication.

but i have one on my list to avoid (woman na nga ba siya?) - mga Bebe Gandanghari types. pramis lahat take ko, to lang di kaya ng powers ko.

Castor Troy: Dress up like Halloween, and ghouls will try to get in your pants. (di ito literal ha, works even for boys)

    Face Off

  9. byahero kami ni misis both international and local, mga not less than 5 trips abroad and not less than 6 local (each for a year) for mga 7years na.

Not once we have experienced any personnel misconduct, harassment or begging for tips. In fact marami nga ako good experiences with airport staffs (pag kasama namin kids sa byahe). :)

Terminal 3 is better than 1 & 2 but it could be better. Sobra nga lang layo ni T3.

Yea, yea compared to other 1st world airports talo nga pinas pero its not that bad.

My complaints lang are the food, sobra harang yung presyo di naman masarap, I'm willing to pay premium pero sana sulit din naman.

btw sa food pa rin, sa NAIA there was one time napilitan akong mag heavy breakfast sa terminal order ako ng tapsilog sa restaurant mismo sa NAIA. F! F! F! F!. Sinerve sakin na tapsilog, malamig as in galing sa ref. Buti na lang kasama ko kids ko kundi pinagmumura ko yung manager at yung cook. Php 150+ na tapsilog na galing sa ref ? WTF?!!! I ended up eating KFC (nagpabili sa driver) hahahahaha.

  10. Finals in Philo done by a sweet young thing (sub prof dahil na stroke yung datan, newly grad kasi biglaan).

Philo is all about reasoning and logic so na-intimidate si cute & sexy prof and nauwi sa flirting.

Either I top the exam or not (flunk it), if I top the exam I get to date her (summer pagkatapos ng 2nd sem finals di ba?), pag 2nd lang ako or lower I get an automatic 4 (fail) - nag 1.25 ako mid term so its a big risk/dare.

But it's all worth it. :thumbsupsmiley:

sarap mag-aral pag may goodies after. hahahaha

    +++++

    powerplant

hands on lab exam. assemble-clean-disassemble rotary engine, ang last group (among 8 groups) auto fail.

naipit, nagkasugat, nabagsakan ng monkey wrench. anak ng kulugo ng 'timing' yan. hahahahaha.

Yung grade depends sa place mo sa finish (1st=1.5, 2nd= 1.75, 3rd=2.0,...).

  11. INSECURITY again kicks in ... :thumbsdownsmiley:

so you think you hit the jackpot and anytime soon when something better comes along you will lose your GF ?

having lots of suitors is a good sign and as long as the said suitors gives proper respect to you and your girl, why not?

may the best man win. :thumbsupsmiley:

    respect is the key.
