Donut lovers

Nothing beats a warm Krispy Kreme original glazed on a sunny day. Light, sweet, and melt-in-your-mouth magic. -
Amaretto Sour is my favorite classic cocktail because it perfectly balances sweet and tart flavors with a smooth, nutty almond kick. It’s refreshing yet comforting, easy to sip, and feels both sophisticated and approachable. Plus, the bright citrus notes paired with the rich amaretto create a timeless drink that’s simple but never boring—making it a go-to for any occasion.

Smoothies, Shakes, Etc

When I was bulking, my go-to shake was a delicious blend of whey protein, Blue Ribbon’s mint chocolate chip ice cream, and fresh bananas. It was the perfect mix of creamy, sweet, and refreshing—fueling my gains while feeling like a tasty summer treat. -
SNR Grocery for bulk buys like boneless skinless chicken thighs—stocking up and saving. South Supermarket when I want a great selection of quality and cheap imported meats to choose from. And Rustan’s The Marketplace for variety—perfect for mixing things up with premium cuts like cheese or specialty items.

Favorite Cookies
MangoBananaShake replied to dsnake's topic in Food & Beverages (Not to be confused with Restos and Bar)
Moloko Cookies (located somewhere in QC) are the best because they deliver thick, chunky cookies with a perfect balance of chewy and crispy textures, packed with creative, bold flavors like gooey chocolates and salty-sweet combos. Made with quality ingredients—including local Filipino chocolates—they offer a uniquely indulgent and unforgettable cookie experience. -
The Best Popcorn

I would have to agree. Garrett Popcorn is my favorite because every bite is packed with rich, bold flavor—especially the sweet-salty combo of the Chicago Mix. -

Tapa flakes from Tapa king. Double meat, additional egg, and extra rice. -
Starbucks gets mixed reviews, their coffee isn't always considered top-tier, especially by coffee enthusiasts who prefer third-wave or specialty coffee shops, but what Starbucks has to offer if the consistent, cozy ambiance, and convenient locations makes it a popular place to hang out or get work done. I personally do not like the coffee in Starbucks, but their couches are indeed comfortable. If I would have to order coffee from Starbucks, I would usually get a cold brew, with 2 Splenda, and a bit of half and half milk. I am not a sandwich nor food expert, but i think their sandwiches are decent.

Cheesecakes

Agreed. First time to try was in rockwell. Absolutely worth the price, and calories. That combination of gooey, crunchy, and acidity was really good, it synced very well together. -
Anything thats speciality coffee with a barista that knows how to pull a shot. Doesn't matter if you have the best speciality beans and best machine, if your barista doesn't know how to calibrate or pull a shot of espresso, it does not matter if your Yardstick or Toby's, it would still be a bad cup of coffee. Trusted coffee shop in the Metro is of course Yardstick. Notable shops are Dueces, Tobys, Spotted Pig, H Proper, Satori. Sometimes the reason for a bad cup even though its a specialty coffee shops, usually the lack of training for the barista, or the lack of oversight. To pull a good cup, there are a few extra steps that you would take, that sometimes its tedious, or some might say its a hassle, just skip that step etc. I understand sometimes, that the influx of customer is just too much for the shop, and they just want to push out as many coffees as possible during that rush hour. They wouldn't want to be dealing with angry customer of course.

Coke Vs Pepsi
MangoBananaShake replied to alaves22's topic in Food & Beverages (Not to be confused with Restos and Bar)
Coke. Especially when they released the limited edition Coke by Marshmello. That was super good, I wish they would release that back. They released the League of Legends one, but it wasnt as good as the Marshmello edition. -
Since I’m on a diet, I miss eating out and not worrying about out my calories or macros. Those spontaneous food trips at around 10 or 11 in the evening. Eating burger, chips, and pizza.

Go around February the weather is perfect. Another tip is try going in the middle of the week, avoiding the weekends and Friday of course. If you have the budget, express pass saves you so much time, it’s totally worth it.

Love their hainanese chicken, clean diet. Tips when you’re looking for good stalls, don’t always go for the Michelin rated one, go for the stalls where the locals line up. -
