  2. Of course chess. Especially when the line's deep into theoretical realm, like Fantasy variation against Caro Kann. Hehe sorry, nerd lang talaga pagdating sa chess. 🤭
  3. There is this application method that I used which is the 'shotgun build'. It means na apply lang ng apply sa kahit anong company within the industry or area of practice na alam mo. Kasi most likely than not, it would increase your odds of getting hired. Statistically, for a normal person like you and me, out of 100 application na binigay mo, around 50 doon babasahin ng recruiters, about 25 of those will be send to the next stage for screening and less than half of those would be successfully screened for interview. Let's say, 10. And even then, those 10 interviews, most likely, the chance of you getting to the next stage would be even lower, because of factors like better competitors or you fked up the interview. So let's say, 2. And in those 2, maybe none would give you a contract to sign... So ayun, apply lang ng apply.
  4. Marami... pero it usually boils down to how risky you can be. For those who aren't into huge risks, try banks or Pag-ibig MP2. Sa banks, they usually offer huge interests to those who invest in big bucks (millions) but if you don't have that much money, try time deposits, Pag-Ibig MP2 is somewhat similar. They offer huge interest for your money, and they will hold onto it, and give it back in later dates, and the timeframe usually lasts by at least 6 months (TD) or years (Pag Ibig MP2 offer 5 yrs.) For old school, the investments they have are usually put into lands or jewelries. Both are good, considering that they don't depreciate, somewhat easy to liquidate, too (though it also depends on the location of the land; jewelries have no problem.)
  5. Let me tell you my experience. I've been here once with my uncle just this year around February. I used klook to do an advance booking and a barcode would then be given to you. Pwede rin naman na magbayad onsite (Php 700+), pero mas malaki compared to advance booking (around Php 600+ lang). Here goes: Entrance: First, marami kainan sa labas. So if you are waiting for someone to show up, you can meet or wait for them there to relax. Maraming stalls, from ramen food, takoyaki, etc. Both commonly seen cuisines came from Philippines, Japan, America or China. Areas: So may maraming area dito, it ranges from the well-known underground glass tunnel, the penguins, the exotic animals (creepy crawlers), the superman/heroes show room (may kryptonite room din), the jellyfish room, 'yung area na may mga palaro and of course the last but not definitely the least, the animal show (birds and seals). What to bring: Bring your own jacket sa loob kasi malamig (mas lalong lalamig if nasa penguin area kayo (note: pw3de niyo sila pakainin, though may extra pay aside from the entrance fee) or sa santa claus zone) but take it off kapag nasa animal show na kayo, kasi open field siya and most-likely, babad kayo sa araw (so need niyo magdala ng sariling caps, towels o sariling pamaypay to block the sunlight, NO UMBRELLA sabi). Need niyo rin magdala ng waterbottles or snacks, kasi medyo marami at mahaba ang lalakarin niyo, malilibot niyo talaga buong area ng Manila Ocean Park (close to 3 hrs rin ang buong pag-ikot-ikot.) (Note: All areas/zone are free to enter as long as you present you barcode, so wag niyo walain or screenshot niyo na lang kung naggamit kayo ng same ko, via Klook.) Ayun lang. I hope you have a wonderful experience sa Manila Ocean Park, because I did.
