Feeling Rich, Looking Rich And Claiming To Be Rich
Isaiah Sen replied to augustmoon's topic in Culture and Living
It is because of the impression that wealth commands respect. Not sure if it's only a Filipino thing. -
What Kind Of Student Were/are You In College?
Isaiah Sen replied to missmanners's topic in Academics, Schools, Universities
Combination of harworking and chill. -
Immortality, non-aging, invulnerability, di nasusugatan, nagkakasakit o tumatanda. 5. Flight 6. Superstrenght 7. Time travel

Women to avoid: 1. Yung mabisyo, mapa-alak, sigarilyo, sugal, atb. 2. Yung magagalitin. 4.

What would you do if you weren't afraid?
Isaiah Sen replied to *Jessie*'s topic in Religion, Philosophy & Personal Reflection
I just want to travel around places and wander around the country and the world. Current restrictions: 1. Work - I am obligated to report to work during weekdays. I also work on weekends if needed. 2. Family obligations - This is closely related to work since I work to earn for me and my family. I also need tp attend to other family matters. 3. Money - I need to have a work, freelance job, online business, sideline, or other source of income that would allow me to earn without being tied to one place. -

The best things in life: 1. Having an ever-loving God I pray for 2. Having a home and a family and/or a person you love who love you back 3. Having your and your family's daily basic necessities met 4. Having your simple indulgences satisfied. 5. All other good things that cannot be bought with money. -
The best.

The Best Location To Live In The Philippines
Isaiah Sen replied to edc's topic in Culture and Living
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:19-21, NIV). -
Umuutang tapos di binabayaran. Nakakawala yan ng tiwala. Mag-update man lang kung di makakabayad sa takdang araw at kung kailan expected na magbabayad should be common courtesy.

What Is Your Purpose In Life?
Isaiah Sen replied to BizMan's topic in Religion, Philosophy & Personal Reflection
Eclesiastes 12:13 Tagalog (Ang Dating Biblia) (1905) (TAB) -
What would make students study harder?
Isaiah Sen replied to romyg's topic in Academics, Schools, Universities

Tips For The Newly Graduates
Isaiah Sen replied to chinits's topic in Academics, Schools, Universities
I'll divide my two cents into different parts. PART 1 Job hunting - We're in the Information Age where every knowledge or information is easily accessible and disseminated thru the internet. You need to utilize effectively and efficiently its convenience. a. You may search for various templates of resume which you think would best reflect and present your info that is more enticing to your prospect companies. b. When job hunting, post your resume in various job sites. c. When selecting companies who've taken interest in your application, search for reviews of the workplace condition and benefits. Ask the questions: What is their workdays, Mon to Fri? Mon to Sat? What is their working hours, is it flexible, is it fixed hours? Is there a work from home arrangement? What are your expected salaries and benefits? Where is their workplace, is it near your residence? If it is far, are you willing to rent a place near it? What is the attitude of the bosses and employees? And others. To sum it up, utilize properly the vast resources and knowledge available just by our fingertips. Do your research well before doing or entering into something. -

Almost 18 years ago since the question was posted. I am answering now as a person who also lived and walked with the world during those times. I didn't have a cellphone then. But I have seen how times molded our technology into what we have now. I currently own a Samsung S22 Ultra. And I can't help but compare it to the first phone I have ever held before, a Motorola phone with a screen and antenna. The times may have changed and the phones and the technology behind it may further evolve. But my memory of holding into that first phone as I press into its keys and the characters that appeared on the screen will forever be engraved into my heart and memory.
