Ramen Nagi is still the best so far. Just really well done ramen. The seasonal ramen are hit or miss. Butao King is king for a reason.

Spice level 4-5, spring onions, seaweed, cabbage, and tamago.

We didn't go on a lechon tour, but my Ex and I tried Zubuchon and Ricos. We preferred Ricos, but Zubuchon had travel packs at the airport so we bought some as pasalubong.

I'll be referring back to this thread the next time I go to Cebu.

Most places are good basta okay yung rice at unli sabaw + fish and tortang talong ulam.

I tried to spread the love to different vendors kasi mura naman and I might discover a favorite. Didn't discover a favorite so I went based on mood.

Based on some memory. Haven't eaten much fried chicken lately. 2022-2023 In the Philippines:

1. Popeyes & Jollibee 

2. KFC & Bon Chon

4. Burger King & McDonald's (there was a 1-2 year period when McDonald's beat Jollibee. IDK what happened)

5. Some random kanto chicken that tasted like Jollibee. Lol!

Hong Kong Chef in Pasay.

We were recommended this restaurant by a family friend.

Ambiance: 8/10. Visited during lunch. Banquet room style dining. We were the only customers.

Service: 9/10. Wait times were typical, but might have felt faster because we were talking and watching over children. Staff was attentive and polite.

Food: 8.5/10. Ordered the usual fried rice, noodles, et cetera, but mapo tofu caught my eye on the menu because it's rarely seen and rarely done well.

Glad I ordered it because it was very good. Struggling to remember if it's the best, gonna have to go back and try the other restaurants I like, but I think it's the best mapo tofu I've had in the Philippines.

Mapo tofu: 9/10. Wanted it spicier, but that's just me. I have a slightly higher spice tolerance.

Yeah. Watched some video breakdowns on YouTube. The whole thing is wild.

It's sad on all sides. The parents probably saw this as a good life for their kids or as their ticket to fortune after all of Ahn Sung Il's manipulation.
