I was able to buy an Asus eee 4G at one of the stores in the airport. Got it for not near the price I wanted: P16k. Just thought someone would like to know.

Thay have a place where only sell all elecronics and computer hardware. I go there via taxi. Suggest you ask the concierge in hotel as there is only one area in Taipeh. For food, try shabu shabu, with Hagen Daz ice cream for dessert. All you can eat.

^^^ Bro, I will just be stopping over in Taiwan en route to somewhere else and my lay-off is a long 4 hrs. That's why I was hoping to look for electronic gadgets to shop while in the airport.

Not practical to buy from Airport Electronic Shops, unless it is an Emergency, i would rather buy it here in Manila, at least have warranty. Better if you be able to pass by the electronics street in Taipei.. there the price is definitely cheaper. But have to window shop and compare price before buying. or if possible you have friends in Taiwan.. buy from PCHOME or Yahoo Bid. Yahoo Bid, be careful of swindlers posing as sellers.

actually there are two areas. one is beside the ceasar hotel. to get here, you get off at the taipei main station. the other one is... hehe i forgot the name of the station near it. guanghua??? dunno if that's the right spelling though.

if you can figure out how to go to these two places, you should compare prices.

Hi, we are going to Taiwan next week, do you have any suggestions on Hostels wherein we could just spend the night pagdating namin ng madaling araw, medyo nahihiya kasi kami sa offer nila na susunduin kami as we arrive.

Thanks in advance :)

Taipei is such a city area, yung 101 lang ang highlight. If you can still go to the outskirts, better. Mas marami makikita at magagawa.

The night markets can also be recommended. Walking distance to 101 and good food too. Can be a good combo to watch sunset at 101 and then stroll around the night markets.

Hello brothers,

I'm staying now in Taiwan for a project engagement and just want to ask baka meron po may alam ng red light district dito? Rates, location, logistics etc - any po na pwede niyo po mai-share mga bossing. Hinahanap ko siya dito kaso mukhang mahirap kapag wala kang insider info.

Salamat

Red districts are all over Taiwan, especially now that prostitution is legal in Taiwan. Where are you in Taiwan. Are you in Taipei city. The best way to get to this districts is by way of a guide. If you can find a male filipino ofw that has stayed there more than a year .most probably,he knows how to get to these places. Or you can go to these 24 hr. spas. Some hotels have it. You can swim or relax at their pools. Then watch or sleep at their movie room. (Porn included) while watching there would be managers roaming around asking if you need company. Don't know the rates nowadays. So be sure to be ready.
In Taipei, the most notorius red light district is in snake alley. There are casas operating there at the far end near the riverwalls or if you happen to stay in a hotel with male filipino chinese at the reception then you are in good hands.

That time 500 lang 12 hours stay sa spa at 2,000 nt sa chick pero 15 minutes lang per session paglumampas ka another bayad. ganun din sa casa 15 min/session parang 800 naman nung panahon na yun. D naman siguro magdoble ang prices ngayon.
