I just want to know how you people look at us professionally ha. Kasi I cant rely on what my MIT tells me, of course they will only say good things about us to encourage more students to enroll to them. it's just that it is mention here that if you are a graduate of UP, DLSU, UST e you can get fair jobs. How about us diba? What can you say po?? Is mapua that bad? Quote Link to comment

How about us diba? What can you say po?? Is mapua that bad? sendo I am a Mapua gradute 1980's so matagal na. I have interviewed a lot of engineers, newly graduate and experienced ones. Sad to say, at about the mid 90's I can't discern the difference between a graduate of MIT or TIP. I guess MIT have employed a lot of instructors who are new graduates and cannot even share a practical experience to their students. Some of them are even lazy and dont bother to teach at all. (If you are an old ME you will know Noche, Tang, Jones, et. al.) I dont know about the selection process of the student during entrance exam but during our days when you ask around about their NCEE scores, I think the average is about 95% and yet only about 25% of the new student will finish their engineering at MIT. One indication is the board exam, our batch ME has 7 on the top ten including the number 1, but now it is luck if you see MIT in the top ten. Daig pa ng provincial school. Nevertheless, everything being equal I still hired a lot of MIT graduates at madali namang turuan and they have been succesful in their career. Quote Link to comment
