Gideon
Definitely my favorite Cake for all seasons. Tried Red Ribbon, CheeseCakes, etc., But tried a new one from Cakes 2 Go. They offer New York Style Cheesecake, which is baked. Oreo Cheesecake, cream cheese with Oreo. Quote Link to comment

Wyld
have you heard of CHEESECAKE FACTORY?do they have that in the philippines yet? that is the BEST place to get cheesecake! click here to see their menu on the lower left side, click on "CHEESECAKES" i bet you'll be impressed with their selections <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nope no Cheesecake Factory in Pinas yet... While I agree their cheesecakes are okay - there are other cheesecakes that can give them a run for their money... For its simplicity, the Blueberry Cheesecake in Red Ribbon and the Oreo Cheesecake in Starbucks Manila is very good. Cravings and Bon Appetit also had good ones before... Honestly, I think the Cheesecake Factory is a bit overrated ... and overpriced. That always happens when something becomes very commercialized and put up as a chain. The quality suffers and the price goes up. In the US some good cheesecakes ive had would be the cheesecake in Foxy's - a small diner in Glendale CA, La Madeleine - a french coffee shop in Houston, Tx among others. DarkAngel
There are not a lot of people who know this but those who do swear that the best, orgasmic cheesecake in the metro is CLAUDETTE'S NEW YORK CHEEESECAKE. It's quite pricey - at PHP 80 for a small slice and PHP 550 for the whole 8" diameter cake. But it's worth it, I swear. Claudette's can be found at the Paseo Center, Paseo de Roxas, Makati. And there's one just behind my office building, at the G/F Easton Place, Valero corner V.A. Rufino Street, Salcedo Village, Makati. :thumbsupsmiley: :thumbsupsmiley: :thumbsupsmiley: :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment
artvader
Of all pastries (cakes), cheesecakes lang ang gusto ko. Yun iba gusto ko lang either yun topping nila or yun icing... but with cheesecake I eat the whole thing. Well... except for rum cakes. So any other places we can get our cheesecake fix? Hirap makahanap ng genuine na chessecake kasi. Quote Link to comment

LadyMariko
i'm hungry. oreo cheesecake from starbucks if within metro. but if you really want something good, really really good. go to bacolod. they have this cozy diner, vienna koffeehaus (yes it's spelled this way) serves austrian lunch but they have exquisite cakes! the blueberry cheesecake is to die for. and very cheap also. P60 per slice and this is a big slice. and another one would be brick pit, mango cheesecake for P80 per slice but the slice is so big it could satisfy 4. darn now i miss bacolod. i have to settle for oreo cheesecake from starbucks for my cheesecake needs. Wyld
@ LadyMariko - does Vienna Koffeehaus have a branch in Cebu? I seem to remember eating cheesecake in a place that sounded something like that in Cebu and if thats the same place, then yes, its pretty darn good! Quote Link to comment

Though the one in bacolod is better.OT- berner sausage from vienna is extremely good. 2 big sausages with cheese filling of course completely wrapped in crispy bacon with mashed potato side dish. after that finish it off with their coffee and cheesecake! yum yum. i gained weight the month i was in bacolod. i go there everyday to the point that i don't have to order, they know what i want. and i was mistaken for an ilongga. Elminster
Check out the Plain Cheesecake from Aldyn's Culinary Delights. Home-baked. The best I've ever tasted, hands down. Medyo pricey lang at P800 per cake (8"). You can check out their site at http://cusineroge.blogspot.com if you wanna see their other products. Quote Link to comment
