If you're willing and capable, buy an annual subscription to a cloud storage service.

This way you can upload important files when you don't have a local storage device but have an internet connection.

As for security, I agree with the recommendations here to archive the documents and protect them with a password.

imho, no need for a paid subscription. you can do Google drive.

tapos may Google sync naman so pwedeng automatic synching.

Secure important files. Zip and encypt.

 

7zip for zipping. Truecrypt for encyption.

 

And then move files to a USB drive or eternal HDD. Then if truly serious, put the USB/HDD in a fireproof box.

 

I disagree that the cloud is a good idea if security is the issue. As we all know, other people have hacked into the cloud. All they need is to guess your password, and all your sensitive files are compromised.
