muffy69
Every month, I go to Diva's Salon just across the street from where I work. Three hairdressers alternately do my hair: 6-footer Joey (she's female), silent and pretty Lisa and foxy but friendly Philomena. It's kinda weird because every time I'm in their salon, I'm the only Asian customer. The rate is kinda steep ($58) compared to other cities ($15-$35) but I like the way the three of them cut my hair. I get a new style for my short hair every month. Don't know if they do the hair of any celebrity in San Francisco though. I only talk to them about books and not about other people. missmanners
i go to paolo of fix g4. he also does my hair and makeup for special occasions and gigs, etc. for maintenance trims and perm retouches (yes, i have a perm), i go to french touch in b.f. pque. very inexpensive and they treat me well. and i trust them not to burn or damage my hair. although, when i feel like spending, which is not often, i like going to you salon over at the fort. they have all these interesting new techniques and equipment. worth a check if you have the dough to spare. Wyld
I used to go to Alex Carbonell in his old shop at the Atrium. Then he went and got big time and expensive... so I moved to Salon de Manila in Greenbelt where for the longest time, Salve cut my hair. When I moved offices to Ortigas, it became nakaka tamad to have to go all the way to Makati for a cut so I found a stylist in David's Mega (female, long hair, name escapes me at the moment) ... then when Fix opened at the Podium, I tried it and ended up being a regular there til I left. Now, if im in LA, Tita Ludy of Dylux cuts my hair. Here in Tx, its Ms Kim of Hair by Tony's... the language barrier kills me though. Shes Vietnamese and its tough explaining what I want her to do to my hair Quote Link to comment
