Ultimately, you will do better and work your way up faster at a job you genuinely care about, so instead of following the money, follow your passion and give your career a boost.

It's easy to chase passion when you're comfy or have a full stomach. Kaya madali for western gurus to preach passion because even minimum wage earners there can live a decent life. What's more realistic for our setting is something like build a good career w/ work life balance then build your passion on the side.

Sadly, money and passion doesn't go hand in hand most of the time. I myself got swept into a career that was not my passion, but I eventually loved it and the pay is very good.

I'm still planning to pursue my passion at the right moment.
