wallace
Yung refund daw makakaavil ka lang kung 3 years kang hindi nakakakuha ng disconnection notice. Pwede ba yun? :thumbsdownsmiley: Quote Link to comment
cleanpinoy
bad trip ang meralco, magpapalit ka lang ng name sa subscriber line ay considered ng new subscriber yon. new subscriber meaning nawalan na ng loyalty yung account dahil natatakan ng new. worst pa ay dapat kang magdeposit ng one month of your monthly electricity bill. ibig sabihin ay kung 5,000 pesos monthly electricity bill mo ay dapat 5,000 pesos din ang deposit for change of name. BAD trip ito. Konswelo de bobo yung meron daw refund if ever mag pa terminate. Pero with all honesty, pagnabenta mo na yung bahay and the rights of your electricity line which is worth more than a million eh ang tanong ay "INTERESADO KA PA BANG KUNIN YUNG DEPOSIT?" superfunkibey
Try comparing each others electrical bills and you'll notice everybody is charged a different kilowatt hour rate. Just another example of how Meralco and the Lopezes are screwing us all. Quote Link to comment

robbietan
Sorry, first time I saw the thread. I have a similar one in the free ONLINE consultation part of this forum. however, better late than never. kaya nga lousy service wala kc kalaban eh, look at PLDT at least nag improve ng konti yung service since meron na sila competition you wish. pldt can choose their customers, which is why I am using digitel right now. pldt refuses to install a phone in our house. meralco is law bound to provide power to everybody. same as all power distributors in the country.you can sue meralco if they refuse to provide you with electricity Yung refund daw makakaavil ka lang kung 3 years kang hindi nakakakuha ng disconnection notice. Pwede ba yun? :thumbsdownsmiley: dont know what refund you are talking about but the your meter deposit will be returned regardless whether you have received a disconnection notice in the past. bad trip ang meralco, magpapalit ka lang ng name sa subscriber line ay considered ng new subscriber yon. new subscriber meaning nawalan na ng loyalty yung account dahil natatakan ng new. worst pa ay dapat kang magdeposit ng one month of your monthly electricity bill. ibig sabihin ay kung 5,000 pesos monthly electricity bill mo ay dapat 5,000 pesos din ang deposit for change of name. BAD trip ito. Konswelo de bobo yung meron daw refund if ever mag pa terminate. Pero with all honesty, pagnabenta mo na yung bahay and the rights of your electricity line which is worth more than a million eh ang tanong ay "INTERESADO KA PA BANG KUNIN YUNG DEPOSIT?" that is correct, as you will sign a new contract that is upgraded in terms of today's money worth. any deposit made by the previous account will be returned with interest. the new contract will have a new value for your bill deposit. a trade off since all distribution utilities are law bound to provide power to everybody, they can collect bill deposits to insure their services will be paid even if the owner decided to cancel the service contract. dont know about "rights to power lines", no such thing exists. all power companies are law bound to provide power. this can be true if you bought the post (private post), the lines (private lines) and the transformer (private equipment) for your service. however, you can also sell these to the next owner, no problem from the power company. Try comparing each others electrical bills and you'll notice everybody is charged a different kilowatt hour rate. Just another example of how Meralco and the Lopezes are screwing us all. that is true. for industrial users, its like buying bulk, the more you buy, the cheaper it will get. for residential, the opposite is true. residential users are classified as small users, hence facilities were designed with this in mind. which is why the discounted rates apply to very small users, these users dont put a strain on a power company's installed facility. makes the facility available for more customers. large residential users can now avail of meralco's time of use (TOU) scheme so that they can plan their consumption and reduce their power bill Quote Link to comment

barrysaint
maybe this thread should be merged with the transparency in meralco thread. useless having duplicate thread. mahihirapan lang si robbietan kaka check ng dalawang thread. on a different matter, yung mga 'power savers' ba umaandar talaga? kasi ang alam ng limited ko engineering knowhow eh unless malaki ang load ng user, negligible ang matitipid sa kinakabit sa socket to save on electricity. senyor robbie tan, yaman din lang ikaw ang expert dito, can you enlighten us on this please. para hindi naman kami ma-denggoy ng mga nagbebenta ng mga ganito. at paki duplicate na rin sa other thread. salamat po Edited November 30, 2008 by barrysaint Quote Link to comment

I even know of cases where a meralco employee was terminated becuase his house had a jumper Edited December 3, 2008 by IQ Zero Quote Link to comment

robbietan
Sobra tagal gumalaw. Can't wait for the monopoly to end! napocor has finally reached the 70% privatization of their power plantsand has scheduled the bidding for its IPP contracts. they say in the middle of 2009, open access can begin konting panahon na lang. altho unless the small consumers form a large entity, the open access era will still benefit only the large power users. as EPIRA envisioned it Quote Link to comment
