Yup, maybe the alcohol in my system is not enough to clean any virus. I need to ramp up on the alcohol!

Hehehehehe..... that would be a novelty in US elections -- a mixed bag -- a Democrat president and a Republican VP!!!! And they will get a taste of the Philippine brand of politics!!!!

But, honestly, I don't think it's permitted in thier system. Let's ask Agxo or igoleyes.

Hmmmm, all this talk about US politics is better served with some parma ham, cheese and a good label.

hmmmm, so what are you suggesting hehehehe. I bet all our gastrointestinal systems need some alcohol boost :thumbsupsmiley:

storm is leaving next week. Do I hear some sort of send-off of the oenological variety? hehehe

The Dems are working overtime to unearth whatever dross they can get on Palin, and I thought they once dismissed Palin as some former small-town mayor. To which she replied that a small town mayor is like a community organizer, only with some real responsibilities - an obvious dig at the Barack man hehehe

Hello fellow winos with complications (heehehe)! Kelan tayo pwedeng mag-EB?

I just got the following email. It sounds like it might have done the rounds, but it does sound apropo to your condition.

As Ben Franklin said:

In wine there is wisdom,

in beer there is freedom,

in water there is bacteria.

In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 litre of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. coli) - bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer (or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember:

Water = Poop,

Wine = Health.

Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of s@%t.

very nice! hehehe

In fact, the Czechs have taken this to heart - most of them don't drink water. They drink beer (Czechs are the biggest beer drinkers in the world). The water they have is put to good use, and this sandstone-filtered natural water they have is one of the best in the world - they use it to make beer. :thumbsupsmiley:

well, i guess it's because water is more expensive than the local brew, on a per c.c. basis. why would i drink water in such event.....

93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "... the palate displays very fine tannins with a touch of sous-bois and spice towards the plum finish." (04/08) 91 points Wine Spectator: "Refined, with excellent intensity to spice, berry, black cherry and rose petal accents. Fresh herb undertones, minerals and nicely integrated oak underscore the intense finish. Drink now through 2011. 1,725 cases imported." (04/08)

Oo nga. Shall I get boomouse to organize one this month while I'm in town? Good evening to all. ^_^

I'll be in Taiwan next week starting Monday, and leaving Friday. Unfortunately, no side trip to Manila this time - have to get back for more meetings the following week!
