stormgray
Ako I have 3 shades, nothing expensive like Oakley, but all polarized: an amber Mossimo, a smoke gray one (can't remember the brand) and a yellow one from Cabela's (the outdoor store in the US). When I started wearing polarized shades in 1999, I never bought any other pair. Whenever I wear non-polarized shades, even the expensive ones, I don't feel comfortable anymore. There are actually polarized shades that you can buy for as low as P1,000.00 (Optical Shop Glorietta and Vivian Sarabia Optical in MOA). Sometimes, Mossimo shades are on sale. Nothing beats the glare-reduction properties of polarized shades, especially for driving, golf and fishing. If you haven't tried them, you'll be hooked once you do. Promise yan! Quote Link to comment

Promise yan!I agree that polarized shades are best, especially for reducing glare. You'll be surprised at how much eye fatigue is caused by prolonged exposure to high glare conditions, like what you face with long summer drives. I found a good compromise between quality and price with the Columbian line. They're not as cutting edge fashion-wise as the more expensive brands, but they've got a good line of amber and grey polarized lenses that are perfectly suited for outdoor activities.
