johnlove Posted December 13, 2007 Share Posted December 13, 2007 What difference does it make if you use firefox for fun and ie7 for work? I am using firefox since its a lot quicker in terms of start up and browsing.. In firefox, it is easier to remove all traces of visiting adult sites. Just click Tools-Clear private data, & your kids & wife won't know what you did last night. Quote Link to comment

kizmark Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 Sadly you still need your ie to update your pc (if you have windows). oo nga eh! life in the net won't be life without ie, bill gates made sure it would stay that way, hehehe. i use both firefox and netscape, most often netscape, no prob, but both have somehow slowed down. i've read somewhere that both are going the way of ie, too, hehehe. still, i feel safe in both, lesser viral and malware visits compared to the time that net life for me meant ie. to those who haven't tried, have a taste of firefox or netscape, you'll never go ie again...except when your windows-based computer (as well as some programs you have installed) tries to update itself.
