Manthao Posted August 6, 2006 Share Posted August 6, 2006 I'll share my experience about Math and numbers...When i was still in college and reviewing for the ECE Board Exam, I had trouble in Math Formulas especially this formulas will be your basic weapon in ECE Board Exam coz 2 out of 3 exams of ECE is based on Math (Electronics, Communication and Mathematics). Apply the formula to the most possible thing that you do everyday -> you know what? -> katarantaduhan Natawa ako nung tinuruan kami ng prof namin kung pano pagsamahin ung katarantaduhan sa pag memorize ng formula...... Sabi nung prof ko when you learn it, you dont need to memorize it kasi you never memorize ung mga katarantaduhan mu e... So if you wanna memorize something, Let's say a very long formula.... try to look for hints and things that you will remember mostly and include it in your memory.... to those who watch Prison Break, Scaufield did memorize through the use of something ( I wont tell what it is ) Finally, ung mga katarantaduhan mu magagamit muna sa magandang paraan!!!!!! blueboy Posted August 20, 2006 Share Posted August 20, 2006 my niece is a freshman high school student, and his teacher tells him that a fraction may not have a negative number for its denominator [eg, in 1/(-4), the negative sign should be moved up to align with the fraction bar or with the numerator 1]. for some reason, none in his class had the guts to ask the teacher "WHY?" and everyone just accepted it as dogmatic fact, and along with it accepted the fate of their widely similar answers, which were all marked wrong coz they didn't move up the negative sign. i always thought there was an underlying reason (or proof) for everything in math. can anybody shed light on this?
