Traveling As A Passion

Actually if you are a frequent traveler, you will realize how overpriced the Philippines is. The only Asian countries more expensive than the Philippines are probably Singapore and Korea. Hotels and food in Japan are probably just at par with the prices here.

If you're a solo traveler, going abroad can be as cheap as a trip to Palawan or Boracay. You can adjust your accommodation, shopping and food according to your liking. Remember that the only real fixed expenses are the airfare, the hotel and the transportation. For example I only spent 100K on my Hong Kong trip and that already includes a lot of visits to massage parlors.

But if you're with your family, ibang usapan na. Everything is X4 and hindi maiiwasan ang shopping which I think makes travel expensive.

took this forgranted nung madalas ako magbusiness trip dati. make the most of all your travels and learn more about the world.

Hindi talaga ganun kasaya pag business trip kasi naka work-mode utak mo. I love travelling but when it's already a work-trip kahit sa Japan pa yan I can't wait to get home asap.

Travel. Money will come back and can be earned again. Time and energy won’t. The benefits traveling greatly outweigh the negatives.

Yan ata mantra nung isang may utang sa akin na hindi pa bayad pero nakikita kong nagttravel sa Japan.

Actually it does not pay to delay travelling because prices constantly increase. I didn't regret going to the US several years ago because back then the US was cheap. Airfare was just $700, hotels were just around $120 and you can easily eat out with $20. Now expect your airfare to be $1400, hotels are $250-300 and $20 will just get you something at a food truck.

Japan is probably the only exception. For those already conscious during the 90's, you'd know how expensive it is back then. Late 90's, ramen was already 250 pesos. A subway ride was also 200 a pop. It was a status symbol as only rich people and japayukis were able to go to Japan. Kaya swerte mga tao these days.

Money will come back but I will never be 23yrs old again crying during the momentous at hongkong disneyland.💖 (

Hk is my first international solo travel.

Nag singapore din pala ako when I was 21yrs old pero OFW ako and may mga kasabay akong kasamahan so yung HK yung solo travel ko haha.

and as Solo Female Traveller, nagjojoin muna ako sa mga fb groups and research for few months bago magbook, then wait for another months for my date of travel.
