Psyren
how much inabot tong setup mo? i'm on a laptop usually eh but gaming usually suffers due to shared video memory kaya i've decided to build a desktop na lang. Roughly sa pesos 42k with the current exchange rate no monitor just the pc. I bought the parts on sale, price match or bundle deals saves me at lease 12k pesos. There are lots of laptops now for gaming MSI and Asus around 80K If you want the models i can give it to you the specs are nice trust me, I'm saving to buy one. RiverJordan
Have done little in terms of upgrade to the current system but as it stands here are the specs: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bitC2Q Intel Q6600EVGA N680i2 x 1.5TB Samsung in RAID0Corsair 4 x 2GB PC2-6400MSI N465GTXCorsair TX850Coolermaster Stacker 83027" Dell 2407 LCDLogitech MX1100 Combo ========= Currently sitting on an online cart, twiddling my thumbs whether to buy or not: CPU/Processor AMD AM3 Phenom II x6 1090T Black Edition (Turbo Core 3.2GHz/9MB/125W) 2.5" Sata II 120GB OCZ Vertex 2 SSDAMD AM3 Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 (rev. 2.1) 2 x 8GB Kit (2x4096MB) PC10666 1333MHz Patriot PGV38G1333ELK 9-9-9-24 2 x 2TB Samsung HD204UI I'm planning to keep the GTX465 and PSU, I don't game as much as I used to so there was no point upgrading the card as I'm going to use the rig mainly for post processing and a VMWare lab environment. Must resist spending!!! Quote Link to comment

RiverJordan
@riverjordan Ang lufet setup ng wish list mo, if you're not in a hurry bulldozer is coming soon, also sandybridge. I've decided to hang out for it. to be honest I have been a out of touch with the CPU roadmaps between Intel & AMD. The thought of an 8 core multi-threaded cpu makes me weak at the knees! I didn't buy the CPU, Mobo & RAM but I got the two x 2TB Samsungs and the OCZ Vertex 2 SSD to keep amused until the releases.I know it will be expensive on release so again, I'll have to wait until the hype dies down. I've installed Windows 7 Ultimate 63 bit on the SSD and I have to say, it's one of the better upgrades that I have done. I just hate the fact that it's still so expensive, when it does go down in price and in line with the current breed of HDD. I plan to get two of them and run RAID0. exciting times. I got the AMD 1090T Black Edition, Patriot Viper Series 8GB kit and a Gigabyte 870A-UD3 Motherboard and a Noctua NH U12P SE2 to cool it down. reinstalled windows Overclocked to 4.02Ghz and went to bed.
