Every day breathing is a good day - the option isn't too appealing.

 

If you need to convince yourself that life is good and that things may not be as bad as they seem - have a look at all the people around you who have to struggle to survive....

 

no regular meals, shelter, employment

 

there is always someone worse off than you - how do they feel??

madalas akong bad trip but after a good, heavy meal and a very loud burp and fart, I become instantly happy

 

then I realize that life is still good

... for all the moments i get to truly rest and sleep deeply. for all the times i decided not to quit when i so wanted to. for all the days i thought would never end and tears were the only constant thing in my life. for keeping my family together and healthy. for giving us what we need when we need them, for giving me the best support system. for never leaving me alone. and for him. all of him.

recently watched i-witness and the topic was "Gutom" featuring people who cannot eat a decent meal.

 

it made me say that for me my life is good because of not just one reason, but more than 1001...

 

let me give you some of my more specific reasons:

 

being alive

good health for all of my loved ones, friends and family.

having enough financially for a decent living

having someone beside me when i wake up

being able to enjoy things around me and just living my life to the fullest

when I'm knee deep in work, blood shot eyes , but knowing that this is worth the time and effort. :cool:

 

when I wish I could have all the material things I desire but can't get them because I can't work it into my budget :cry: , but I could save for eventually.

 

when I fear that I may robbed snatched or even killed be it on the way to work or just windowshopping in a mall :grr: , but always get home safe. :boo:

 

when I have a disagreement with my hubby about something, we won't talk to each other for hours :thumbsdownsmiley: , but make up before the day ends. :heart: :heart:
