aforgottenshore
:thumbsdownsmiley: Buffets are nasty!I worked in the Food and Bev industry for over 25 years. I never eat buffets if I can help it.They are so nasty.Food is left out and incorrect temperatures.People touch the food.People sneeze on the food. How long has it been there. Was it recycled?Yechhh. Besides, why go to a restaurant and have to go get your food?It should be brought to you, not put out so that the pigs can go to the trough.Nasty Nasty Nasty. Quote Link to comment

aforgottenshore
:thumbsdownsmiley: :thumbsdownsmiley:Why- We are humans not gluttonous pigs! All you can eat places are typically centered on quantity not quality. If all you want to do is pig out. Eat at home.Dining out should be an experience for your palate, not an excuse to keep alka selzer in business.I would rather have a nicely presented, well served and perfectly prepared dish then eat at the trough like a pig. bill_262003
even in hotels? With regards to the comments that buffets are nasty.... I think buffets in the hotel are generally cleaner. And with regards to people sneezing on the food or touching the food. Most hotels have servers that serve the food for you when you go the buffet. So that would make the food more cleaner. Also, people eating in the hotel, generally (but not all) have more manners (to not sneeze on the food... hehehehe). Quote Link to comment
captaintani
I went to Kabalens right below Dad's and it is probably one of the best buffet places that serves authentic Pilipino food. Pampanga style cooking is one of the best. I always go there whenever I'm in town. guess i'm answering to a year old post but anyway, I just would like to say that Cabalen as it is properly spelled is the worst buffet places I had been. The price is actually is not cheap for the menus that they are offering. I just feel sorry that I have tried that place. I guess the only thing that is nice is their billboard outside the resto. very recognizable. Quote Link to comment

I am a costumer who appreciate the services and food that has been offered by a certain establishment. I guess you have a very limited places that had been visited in your 25 years of work in food and beverages. Try the 2nd floor of China Town along Banaue street, Quezon City. You have more than 70 dishes to choose from. As I've said I'm only one of the satisfied costumer and I recommend it to you. The price is 420.00PHP per person. Soon as you had the experience on dining to a proper place, let me know your opinion. I will accept your good and bad critics. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
