melancholic
After reading A Game of Thrones, I didn't think I'd proceed with the sequels. There are times when the story becomes so dark, sometimes I can't bare the pain. But the holidays would be boring with nothing to do, so I bought the sequels. Damn, I'm hooked again! A Clash of Kings A Storm of Swords And currently reading A Feast for Crows. I classify these books as "Books to Avoid" because once you enter this universe, there's no coming out! George R.R. Martin is the modern "Tolkien". I would even dare say that he's better than Grand Pa J.R.R. Edited January 12, 2008 by melancholic Quote Link to comment

Interesting read with lots of philosophical insights on life, religion, etc. i love that book. it's like a bible to me next to catcher in the rye. i just finished kafka on the shore and currently on the first few chapters of lord of the flies, i just need to read the classics.
