How do you like the performance?I can't seem to get used to the Mac OS. But I hear that they pack quite a punch. Lalo na pag multimedia ang binabanatan mo. Quote Link to comment
in_style
shikura, m taking the liberty of making minor adjustments to your thread title and description. if you have anything for me to add, just pm me or any mod and we can fix the thread title thru our thread settings. as for the performance of the mac-os x. i shuld say i am very satisfied. i've always been a desktop or pc useor. got the ibook last year. its very convenient and yes, very powerful. its so easy to use! its idiot free as how my friends would describe it. so far, there has been only several times if not none at all in record that macs has been hacked with viruses. its very convenient too as its light. however i still keep my desktop at home. keeping two computers (sometimes 3 when the proj laptop is with me) may sometimes be complicated but its fine as it makes me play dual role. i back up my files on both computers using the wonderful tam drive. another innovation that i am so thankful about. mind you, for the record i am no computer geek. i dont even know whats the difference about celeron, pentium and os. hehehe... Shikura
Thank a lot C3 Hmm... power at your fingertips...I have GOT to try one of those. My COusing bought a Mac recently. The kind round base with a flat screen monitor. Pahiram kaya nya sakin? OOnga, konti lang nga balita about Mac's being hacked and stuff. Wonder why? I Agree that having two PC's is really convenient. All I had before was one PC with one hard disk, then it crashed. Imagine my fustration when they told me that they wouldn't salvage the files. All the pics and stuff were there. Now, my desktop has 2 hard disks and my important files are always backed up. As for a computer geek...hmmm... I'm not a geek as well, but what I am is a Freak. A super freak  Sex and technology... quiet an unique blending of interests i should say Quote Link to comment

It's as hot as hell today :grr:  hi shikura happy easter! i usually use MSN. my laptop is dependable. back then, while i was working and electricity was cut in our condo, my laptop's battery went beyond my expected time of its performance. Good thing... it lasted for two hours for me to be able to finish my work in time for the presentation the next day. i tried to connect at seattle - old ibm building at paseo but its a bit slow of course. i havent tried at GB3 but my officemates once demonstrated during the launching of CMT that people can indeed can work at GB3. i heard an experience before in japan: our folks needed to do a preso to a client about CMT but they missed to go down the right station. thus, missed the next train going to the client. they were able to send the preso to another co-employee who is already at the client's office using the wireless technology. though the president wasnt able to do the preso, another co-employee presented. For your ordered laptop, whew ... its cheap as compared when you buy it here in the Philippines. I suppose you are here in the Philippines since you were converting Dollars to Pesos. Yep, it is already possible in Japan  Wireless tech is rampant there. No one's using dial ups anymore and even my Grandmom, who is now 7+ is bought a laptop and is joining classes for using PCs. My cousin, who is Japanese by the way and works for one of the Company's providing the broadband providers in Japan did a little demonstration for me when we were roaming around. He had this cute little notebook, cguro the size of a steno notebook, a little bigger though. We got into the train and he was still surfing away. Then the Park, we call it "hanami", drinking while watching the sakura blooms around Ueno Park. He was still connected. Of course, there are places where bawal sya at minsan no signal pero, MAN!! Kailan kaya magiging ganyan ang Philippines?? Yes, I'm from the Philippines, Half-Breed lang nga, not Filipino though. It would be exactly 120,500 JPY. Sorry, tinatamad ako pumasok ng conversion site eh Quote Link to comment
