Too expensive. The prices don't make sense. Just book a flight to Phuket or Taiwan. Same lang, baka mas mura pa.

Also, predatory merchants and middle-men everywhere. Nakakahiya sa international tourists natin yung may lapit ng lapit at nagaalok. Locals there say "Just say no". Taena you're on vacation do you want to be followed everywhere you go? No wonder Korean and Chinese tourists just book tour packages.

Went to this place almost 10 years ago. Definitely going back. Not for the night life, but for the crystal clear waters.
