Getting one’s name on the wall at Cocomangas was a right of passage. There were bars at other beaches (one in Puerto Galera comes to mind) that copied the drinks challenge but none of them came close to the original. The stuff of legend.

Bora will always be my favorite beach destination. I just hope someone opens a strength and conditioning focus gym. There was a CrossFit gym before, but it closed. I think there are a few good commercial gyms along the main road.
