filipinos always likes variety and a place to hang out....and such is just the place....

until somebody thinks of a better place.....

just a matter of time.....but until then

 

Starbucks it is......

Nothing. It's the 'in' thing for a ehile now.

The place is nice to hang out, socialize or tanggal-amats but there's nothing special with their coffee. There are a lot of other better coffee you can taste, some even cheaper.

jollibee lang ata ang produktong pagkaing fastfood na pinoy ang tinangkilik tlaga ng pinoy.technically its chinese,intsik ang may ari.

maganda kasi mag social climb sa starbucks.tingnan nyo fb friends nyo meron isang tao dun may picture ng baso ng starbucks with their name on it.

ilang beses na ako pumunta ng starbucks pero hindi ko magawa mag picture ng baso ko.

parang iyung mga selfie ng mga babae sa salamin, kailangan iphone gamit.pwede naman oppo,myphone,cherry mobile.hindi ko alam bakit kailangan iphone.

yung katulong namin dati humiram pa ng iphone para lang magselfie sa salamin.

Siguro yung service nila at yung venue. Good place to talk or have a client meeting. Kung for bragging rights lang at wala ka din pera....dun ka na lang sa park then bili ng 3 in 1 na kape.

I think it's more of the ambiance and the brand. I'm not a big fan of their coffee. Sorry

nothing's special about Starbucks and the coffee that they serve. ambience? maybe, it can be noisy but there's still a sense of quiet-ness. however, from what i've seen:

 

1. some students go there to pick up their books and study. these are the people who could be alone or in a group, absorbed in their books. those who you need a crowbar to pry their noses away from their books. these may be students who don't have the same privilege at home or don't want to study in the library because you can't bring food/drinks inside.

 

2. business people on the go who don't have coffee at home because time wasn't or isn't on their side. instead of getting in late at work, they would hop in their cars, crawl through the traffic, get to work with 15 minutes to spare and a cup of coffee in hand.

 

3. there are groups of people who go there to actually talk. i've noticed that in this day and age of phones,access to the net, etc, people in restaurants, yes, even those cozy sit-down places, many if not all are busy taking photos of their food, posting it on IG, FB, etc. actual conversation - ZERO. whilst many,if not all of those who choose to sit down in 'bucks are laughing together because of real conversations.

 

4. there are those who just want to prop up their feet and relax.

 

5 oh, and well, there's the usual crowd of those who just want to be "in" hip and chic.

 

so, if you're asking what's special about the place and their coffee, actually none. BUT, they know how to sell and cater to the different people who go there to buy their products.

maganda ung branch nila around capitol commons.not too crowded and spacious. in pioneer, may 2nd floor. most hated branches are those situated sa mall. crowded and lot of posers

But in fairness this was the entry level for coffee lovers

Iba talaga lasa ng starbucks tsaka ito ang mas sikat compared sa iba.
