maximusmeridius
i usually go shopping or hit the gym and pool. those two are nice for the spirit and good for the body. try it sometime. any sort of physical activity is best. sex is a very very good alternative to depression. Quote Link to comment

Grimace
MY advice is that you should try dating other than your comfort zone, like for instance if you dig ,really nice posh guys who are posers, why not try going out with nerds or even laid back guys who got extreme interests? i met one guy here and yes, we hit it off, he's nice and sweet and he's kinda nerdy but we get along pretty well, so anyway my advice to escape from your humdrum life is to go out and date people!! if they ask you to get alid..Well you better head the door! hehehehe Good luck! performance
as hard as it seems, break your life down and concentrate in fixing things one at a time... simplify... divide and conquer... Sometimes when things are going down for us, we panick and try to fix everything at the same time... gotta do it one by one Quote Link to comment

trillian
Read a book, it helps if its funny or inspiring Or if you're not much of a reader then: 1. Go to a bar2. have a few drinks3. nibble on something (mint leaf to freshen your breath)4. listen to the music5. if you're lucky you'll hit it off with someone (which isn't hard with the right attitude)6. dance with that person (preferrably slow numbers so you can brush against him/her)7. then if you're luckier you get a night of unforgettable passion Enjoy life, you only get one  Quote Link to comment
heavygatin_but_cutie
what i'd do...pray pray and pray! reassess your life..kasi the things that are happening in your life is the result of your decisions. so stop ka muna..think...reflect and plan out. face all your hardships ...trust in God and things will be better. Quote Link to comment

Barenaked-NoMre
well ... it's better to really have a good crying session ... let all the anger and emotions out ... play "angry" music like Alanis ... write whatever ur thinking on paper or in a diary ... have a stiff drink ... listen to soothing music after with a candle lit in the background then ... after the "storm" has past ... think, learn, listen ... to you, HIM ... "things happen for a reason" ... that you just cant explain ... you ask urself and you wonder why it has to be this way ... when you look inside you heart ... you will find the answer Go DEEP! ;-) Quote Link to comment

KristinLavransdatr
i usually go to the Greenbelt Chapel to kneel and pray. i don't usually ask to be freed from pain or sadness. just being there is healing. is freedom. is bliss. Quote Link to comment
Agent_mulder
There's no other thing to do but pray for guidance. Also, some people might find this rather unusual but i listen to this song from the 90's and somehow it gets me going. When the spoon is hot And the needle's sharp And you drift away I can hear you say That the world in black Is upon your back And your body shakes So you ditch away And you close the shades Don't try to do it Don't try to k*ll your time You might do it Then you can't change your mind You've got a hold on to your time Till your break through these Times of trouble When you try to talk And the words get hard And they put you down Don't you stay Don't you ditch away I saw you swinging Swinging your mother's sword I know you're playing but Sometimes the rules get hard But if somebody left you out on a ledge If somebody pushed you over the edge If somebody loved you and left you for dead You got to hold on to your time till you break Through these times of trouble Quote Link to comment

LB
hurt yourself over and over... then, go with the flow of things... find new friends... try new things... when you cannot take it anymore... all of a sudden, stop... go to a church... pray and repent... join a cell group... climb a mountain... start over again... work hard... attend self-improvement classes... live in a place where nobody knows you... *** when you feel that life is soon to be game over or the term you used 'crashing,' add some spice to it or continue to explore or go through a transition. just remember, everytime you do things good or bad... there should always be a way out... on the back of your mind (just incase!)... you can lose at times but don't die there are plenty of reasons to war... :grr: ...that is why christina aguilera sang "fighter" Edited February 14, 2005 by lovelybabe Quote Link to comment
