teio
prof... J-E-T-S!!! JETS! JETS! JETS! : :boo: Just a quick note on T.O. ... looks like his agent is trying to talk the Eagles into releasing him after the 4-game suspension so he can be picked up by another team. Nonetheless, Big Blue is on top of the NFC East with the Vikings coming into Giants Stadium this Sunday. As for a Colts/Giants Superbowl? Time will tell but I sure do hope it happens. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>colts - giants for the superbowl... sibling rivalry... manning vs. manning... :thumbsupsmiley: mcnabb's heart will definitely be broken if owens is released by the eagles... his stats spiked up after terell arrived in the city of brotherly love... but if TO is going to be released... where will he next ply his trade?... he resides in atlanta... and mike vick... aka... ron mexico... has been waiting for a top reciever to compliment him... i hope this pushes through... pack888
Am a 49ers fan way back during the Joe Montana and Jerry Rice era and still a 49ers fan. Too bad they don't sell NFL products here in the Phil. Quote Link to comment
tim21
a good choice for TO would be the packers. i think he said in an interview that the eagles are better off if favre were to QB for the team. since bret is dying to have a great reciever, i think it would be a fit and maybe when walker returns they might make a final push for the playoffs. vick and TO... i think it won't work. too much ego on those two. what if they need a crucial three down conversion. do they play a QB draw or a crossing post by TO? can't argue with the skillz of both players but if mcnabb wasn't able to tame TO then i think all hell will break lose if TO and vick would clash. sidenote: hey guys, do you know of a bar that shows nfl games? puro na lang kse tau basketball. sunking
Hopefully the mods won't mind if we get just a tad OT... I was in Boracay over the last few weeks of last month. I don't know if any of you peeps were there but did you get to watch the flag football competition? Man, a lot of those guys were big. I didn't really think you needed to be that big to be playing ff, but I guess if it was competition level... They were a fun crowd, with a handful of cute girls thrown in the mix. Yup, they played too. Maybe an MTC crowd can get together to form a team... Damn those Colts... well, twas healthy payback... Looks like a rematch would be good watching.... Quote Link to comment
tim21
i'm up for flag football... although i dont know the rules on how to tackle or block an opponent. Quote Link to comment
jameslim
colts are doing really good... im thinking that the superbowl might be between them and either the bengals or the steelers or the broncoes... that would be interesting...<{POST_SNAPBACK}> fyi lang. hope you wont get offended but that wont be possible because the colts, bengals and the steelers play in the same conference, the AFC. superbowl pits between the winners of the afc and the nfc. so hopefully giants vs colts ang superbowl cause im a giants fan since i started watching football. time pa nila phil simms and lawrence taylor Quote Link to comment
clipperjune
^^^Phil simms was the QB when they won there last SB right? Looks like the Eagles would completely miss the playoffs this year. Donovan need immediate season ending surgery. It sucks to be a Philly fan this year. Quote Link to comment

clipperjune
^ oo nga ano?ewan ko lang ha, pero parang mas malakas ang AFC kaysa sa NFC ngayon...<{POST_SNAPBACK}> The last NFC team na super lakas is the 99 RAMS (the greates show on earth) than after that all AFC na. Si Donovan Macnabb pala latest victim nang Madden curse hehehehehe. Quote Link to comment
bustero
hey nabuhay nanaman , merged lang nga. if you want to understand the game show up in the local leauges easiest to understand when you play. Madaming kasing rules and strategies ang football but the basics are quite easy to figure out. Basically you just try to get your football to the opponents area (endzone) , basic rules is that you have several tries (which they call downs) in order for you to run with the ball or pass it to someone else to get past 10 yards (in amatuer or arena may be shorter or longer). Do this often enough and voila score. Easy to appreciate the pass and catch plays , and individual runs. Harder to appreciate the nuances of offenses and defenses as the strategy needed in this game is very complex. Anyway bottom line is to have a good time playing or watching it. Quote Link to comment
teio
yup... it sucks to be a philly fan this season... by the way... who among you are playing fantasy football?... how are your teams faring?... Quote Link to comment
jameslim
yup its sucks to be an eagle fan this season but its great to be a GIANTS fan this season, finally the GIANTS are having a great season. Hopefully the GIANTS can go deep into the playoffs. Go G-MEN. What a distraction T.O was to the eagles this season, he brings a lot of garbage to his team Quote Link to comment
teio
well... i read an online article in yahoo about owens' case... the rift between him and the philly organization began when owens started asking for a contract realignment... after being a major factor in the eagles' superbowl run, owens felt that his 5-year, $40+M contract was not enough... and that he should earn more... such a brat... i wonder where he'll strut his ply next season... btw... mike vick had already aired his opinion regarding owen's case... vick said that it would be great if TO will be in a falcon uniform... BUT, as vick added, TO must know who is boss... and that is no other than him... the guy who wears the jersey with number 7 on the back... Quote Link to comment
jameslim
yeah T.O. is such a brat, prior to the start of last season, he signed a new contract with the eagles.then before the start of this season he wants to restructure his contract, saying that he is not being paid enough. T.O. is the Latrell Sprewell of the NFL Quote Link to comment
