lomex32
Heto experience ko 1. CarabeefSa Samar and Leyte most stews served here uses Carabeef (Meat ng Kalabaw). You seldom or do not at all find beef. 2. Red RiceIn Samar, Bohol, Leyte and Cebu you get to choose RED rice (unpolished rice) apart from the usual white rice. 3. Star RiceIn Cebu, most food stalls also serve STAR Rice (Rice with Star Margarine) making it yellow in color. 4. Soup No. 5 sa Chan Kee in Binondo, Go Kong - Made up of Testes of a goat tenderized through boiling with chinese herbs and spices. It is believed to be an aphrodisiac and energy soup. 5. in Southern Leyte, they serve Halo-halo (yes our usual summer treat) with cooked MACARONI. Quote Link to comment
