sujiro
yup..sbi nga ng mga MMA websites, Nick has a very unique style, high volume punches, incredible chin and sick ground game..pro, if you check his last 10 consecutive wins, wla nmn wrestlers dun puro elite strikers lng..then his last 3 consecutive losses comes from Sherk, Riggs and Diego Sanchez..but i believe he have a great chance with GSP..but i dont think he can defeat Fitch. riceb0i
takedown defense wise hindi nga kalakasan kesa kumpara kay bj penn si nick diaz, on the diego sanchez loss, siguro a rematch will see nick diaz winning convincingly, about sean sherk naman the nick diaz of today will teabag him na, ang laki na ksai ng improvement ng striking nya, with that arsenal medyo mahihirapan na din siyang i-takedown ng mga elite wrestlers sa opinyon ko lang ha. tapos the badboy attitude hahahaha, aos na ayos boss. kumbaga pag sasabihin nyang babasagin nya mukha ng kalaban nya, babasagin nga nya Quote Link to comment

maddromeo
Nick Diaz can definitely beat any given welterweight in the UFC! Unfortunately for him team mate Jake Shields is already there! Another Cesar Gracie Protege' EL Nino Melendez is IMO best LW in the world right now! He Would destroy FE or Gray Maynard given the chance! Fedor vs. Hendo @ LHW! I hope Fedor decides to cut weight to LHW! Sakto lng sya sa weight class na yun! Quote Link to comment

CorpseGrinder
Forrest Griffin vs 'Shogun' Rua II booked for UFC 'Rio' on August 27 The rematch "Shogun" fans have been waiting over three years for is finally here. Forrest Griffin and Mauricio Rua will hook 'em up one more time when Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heads to Brazil for its upcoming "Rio" pay-per-view event from the HSBC Arena on August 27, 2011. MMA Fighting brought word of the booking earlier today. Rua (19-5) made his first appearance inside the Octagon against Griffin at UFC 76 back in September 2007, fresh off a knockout win over Alistair Overeem at PRIDE 33. And despite all the hype surrounding his Zuffa debut, the Brazilian went belly up (or belly down in this case) and got choked out by the former "Ultimate Fighter." Those kinds of things can happen when you compete with a bum knee and a rusty gas tank. "Shogun" managed to rebound with back-to-back wins over Mark Coleman and Chuck Liddell, which at the time was good enough to earn him a title shot against then-champion Lyoto Machida. It took two attempts, but he finally slayed "The Dragon" to claim the promotion's 205-pound title. Unfortunately his knee required surgery after the win, which gave light heavyweight phenom Jon Jones the chance to pick up steam and never slow down. On March 19, 2011, "Bones" was breaking the Brazilian in his first fight back in over ten months. http://cdn0.sbnation.com/images/blog/star-divide.v777cf8a.jpg Now that former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans has first dibs on the division title, "Shogun" will have to start from scratch. And what better way to exorcise some of those demons than by avenging his loss to Griffin? Like Rua, Griffin (18-6) saw his 205-pound belt come and go after Evans planished him at UFC 92 back in 2008. An embarrassing beatdown at the hands of Anderson Silva would soon follow, but since then he's managed to string together a pair of wins over Tito Ortiz and Rich Franklin. Defeating "Shogun" for a second time would undoubtedly raise his stock within the division while simultaneously ending any chance of seeing the Brazilian get back in the title hunt. Who leaves a contender and who leaves a gatekeeper? We'll find out soon enough. UFC: "Rio" will mark the promotion's first trip back to Brazil in over a decade as Anderson "The Spider" Silva defends his middleweight title against Yushin "Thunder" Okami. CorpseGrinder
UFC 133: Vitor Belfort vs Yoshihiro Akiyama booked for August 6 in Philadelphia You can't always get what you want. Vitor Belfort was itching for a tussle with Wanderlei Silva and that fell through. Then he turned his attention to fighting in Brazil at the upcoming event to be held in Rio de Janiero and now that's gone to the wayside. Instead, "The Phenom" will take on Yoshihiro Akiyama at UFC 133 on August 6 when the promotion returns to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, according to Dana White (via ESPN). "Verbal agreements are in for a battle between two of the most exciting fighters in the middleweight division. Coming off three straight Fight of the Night performances, Yoshihiro Akiyama will take on former UFC light-heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort in Philadelphia." Belfort is healthy and rearing to go despite suffering from foot-and-mouth disease thanks to Anderson Silva and his fight-ending, Steven Seagal inspired, front kick back at UFC 126. Calls for a fight against Michael Bisping were long and loud but the alternative looks like it's just as interesting ... and potentially explosive. http://cdn0.sbnation.com/images/blog/star-divide.v777cf8a.jpg Yoshihiro Akiyama was recently pulled out of a scheduled UFC 128 clash against <a href="http://www.sbnation.com/mma/fighter/122561/nate-marquardt" class="sbn-auto-link">Nate Marquardt due to the devastating natural disasters over in Japan. "Sexyama" will enter the cage on a two-fight skid, having dropped consecutive bouts to middleweight mashers Chris Leben and Michael Bisping, respectively. However, the Japanese judo player has earned himself "Fight of the Night" honors in all three of his appearances inside the Octagon. That's a track record that speaks for itself. And with the speedy -- and powerful -- hands possessed by Belfort, a fourth straight bonus award isn't out of the picture. Excited? You should be. UFC 133 is set to go down on August 6, 2011, from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Belfort vs. Akiyama is set for the main card, as well as a middleweight throwdown between Jorge Rivera and Alessio Sakara. Stay tuned to MMAmania.com for future updates to this still-developing fight card. Mas maganda sana kung si Bishpeng yung kalaban ni Vitor ng makatulog ulit yun... Quote Link to comment
