I mean I am not hating or anything coz I love MMA and I love watching Strikeforce as well and I am hyped up for these match ups.. but lets get real, If this is a tournament then the highest seed would face the lower seed first so as there is a possibility of #1 and #2 in the finalsTheir champ is included in the tournament, so is Overeem gonna fight 5 rounds while the other fights 3 rounds?No other venues are booked for the other fights except the Fedor fight.They have named some replacement HW by placing them in matches, so if any HW in the bracket got injured will the replacement, who is clearly a can, takes that place?Barnett has his license still suspended and Overeem still was having issues fighting in the US. Well I am just stating the obvious problems, if they can work that out then we are all in store for an EXPOSIVE HW division in MMA! Matches are picked randomly! Walang ranking yan! Though Coker admitted to give Overeem what he asked for, which is a rematch with Werdum. Barnett only has problems in California, not the whole US! Overeem fought in the US before, he just finished his K1 obligations and now after winning the K1 GP he said he will now focus in MMA HW replacement are Cans? Dont think so... these are legit prospects at HW Let's just wait and see... hope this StrikeForce HW GP meets all expectations! DREAM was not able to organize a real HW GP of their own... So I hope SF does it right Maybe they are picked randomly maybe they aren't. But in my opinion, Coker made these matches to please their TV partner, Showtime, right away. They can't afford to have low ratings for a Fedor fight especially when Showtime was VERY instrumental in resigning Fedor. Well maybe Barnett can apply for a license elsewhere but SF's stronghold in the US is in San Jose, California. This is where their presence is very strong and they would need an event without Fedor to happen there. Valentijn Overeem is a can. Del Rosario, Johnson, and Sefo maybe propects but I would not put them in a match with the likes of Fedor nor Alistair. I would much rather see Cormier with his wrestling in there than those 3 strikers. Nevertheless, I would love to see all those matches especially now that Cain is out for a while.
