Why do I get the feeling that he will fight in a no less than a year from now and will be fighting a can? Let's see who else is in Strikeforce.. Overeem will fight Werdum.. he already fought Rogers and Arlovski.. BigFoot Silva just lost.. Lashley is scared of Fedor.. He can figt Cormier.. geneticfreak Posted June 28, 2010 Share Posted June 28, 2010 Saw the Fedor/Werdum fight vid finally. Tsk... IMO it could have been either overconfidence or haste. In any case you are not supposed to leave your arms extended in someone's guard like that for prolonged periods (must improve position) or they will eventually catch you. Must have been the former since as someone here has already mentioned Fedor actually has a very good submission game himself and has done well against BJJ specialists like Werdum in the past. Oh well... it's MMA. nuff said. And oh im rooting for Carwin against Brock this sunday. I don't think anybody will be taken down in that fight so it'll all depend on the standup and I still think Carwin has better standup than Lesnar. And i'm quite sure Greg Jackson has a trick or two up his sleeve in dealing with Brock. Quote Link to comment
