Mehdi!
^The Rock Condit - i would love to see this guy destroy Diaz face coz i'm sick of his anticsWerdumKoscheck Gotta agree with you. I mean mas OK pa si Koscheck kaysa sa mga Diaz bros. Quote Link to comment
JustSmile=)
I seldom pick winners of fights because it's MMA and anything can happen, but I gotta say that Renan Barao is a beast! Scott is a berserker but Barao should have this fight.. Quote Link to comment
JustSmile=)
Koscheck won by an eye poke.. oh sorry, that was a split decision.. Quote Link to comment
JustSmile=)
Nick Diaz is such a baby, retiring after the lost.. You lost the fight you tool, that is what you call a game plan and it was executed to perfection.. Quote Link to comment
CorpseGrinder
i'm extremely disappointed with DIaz game today, i gave round 1 and 5 to Diaz but Condit shows how versatile his skills really are. now he retires coz he lost? what an idiot, his antics are really frustrating and stupid. overall, i find the whole event rather boring... Igniz
for the first time panalo lahat ng picks ko. sore loser talaga itong si diaz, buti nga at natalo siya. http://www.gifsoup.com/view4/1308216/girl-crying-o.gif Quote Link to comment
joseph1
Diaz announcing retirement = shock/controversy factor. Bad taste, bad grace and poor sportsmanship too. The fact that we (and a whole lot of other people judging from the comments on the UFC page) are talking about it is proof enough. In this regard, you might say he wins. Sadly though it was a bit like Carlos was playing to "not lose." Still a great game plan though IMHO, mixed up strikes and did not go to the ground where Diaz would have submitted him. Is there anyone who can stop Roy Nelson? Sure he lost, but the level of punishment would have put down a whole lot of other fighters. Doubtful that he could cut as weight to make 205, but it just seems he is undersized for the division. All in all, it wasn't as spectacular as other recent events though. Hoping Sanchez-Ellenberger and Edgar-Henderson would be better. Edited February 5, 2012 by joseph1 Quote Link to comment
Mehdi!
Smart game plan by Conduit. I don't see him giving GSP a beatdown or owning the title. Well, Diaz needs to rethink what he needs to do.Conduit had a game plan, Nick had little or none at all except for punches in flurry and/or submit him via ground game. Quote Link to comment
joseph1
It seemed like he was lost after Carlos no longer responded aggressively to taunting (a mistake Penn and Cerrone, against Nate, made). Quote Link to comment
Mehdi!
It seemed like he was lost after Carlos no longer responded aggressively to taunting (a mistake Penn and Cerrone, against Nate, made). I was laughing when he was actually doing the taunt thing. Carlos just didn't give a damn about it though, good plan for him. Quote Link to comment
SaintPeter5858
Nick Diaz is great. but he was not given the chance to fight GSP after losing his last fight Quote Link to comment
JustSmile=)
WTF! UFC is considering a rematch between Condit and Diaz.. I guess Nick has a lot of pull even though it was clear that Carlos won.. whatever, I'll still watch that fight if that happens.. Besides I do not think that the result will be different unless it goes to the ground early.. Quote Link to comment
SaintPeter5858
Personally, I believe, Nick Diaz should have won in that fight. I don't know what happened eventually except that his dominance diminished in the later rounds Quote Link to comment
JustSmile=)
Hahaha.. Not that I'm surprised, Nick Diaz tested positive for Marijuana.. Now I can say that no rematch will happen.. Quote Link to comment
