Though Bones is proving he is Legit, He should still face top 5 caliber guys since IMHO, Hamill and Vera are but gatekeepers in the LHW division... Thiago Silva and Ryan Bader would make good opponents and a good test if Bones is already top 5 caliber

how do you figure that?? the only illegal elbow strike is the 12 to 6 (12 o'clock to 6 o'clock as jones did against hamill) and i'm pretty sure the elbow that vera absorbed was not of that manner. but anyway i think all elbow strikes should be legal. an elbow is an elbow and i'm not quite convinced that a 12-6 elbow strike is more dangerous than any other type of elbow strike.

Well that is always a possibility especially if he has been receiving offers from other lesser known promotions. but hey the old Pride FC kept Gary 'Big Daddy' Goodridge for a while even though he was obviously on the decline because they needed a gatekeeper.

 

I'm still prayin he gets out of his current slump though he is our countryman after all and the more pinoys in the greatest MMA organization in the world certainly the better.
