King Nothing
Hendo can take Shields for sure... I think the reason he signed with SF is he was hoping for a rematch with Silva but Dana had other plans What one of my favorite fighter is now out of UFC? wwwwwaaaaaaaahhhhhhh! I think UFC is getting too crowded already! Quote Link to comment
maddromeo
Think Hendo got upset when Dana gave Vitor Belfort the title fight against A. Silva! And StrikeForce had given Hendo a better deal than what UFC offered him. :hypocritesmiley: By the way whats up with Shinya Aoki flipping the crowd in Japan @ K1 Dynamite's 2009 DREAM vs. WVR!? Any news from that?! :thumbsdownsmiley: Quote Link to comment
geneticfreak
What one of my favorite fighter is now out of UFC? wwwwwaaaaaaaahhhhhhh! I think UFC is getting too crowded already! Prize Fighter... That's part of the criteria when choosing which promotion to join. I'm sure it won't be the last time Hendo will be seen in the UFC. If you think about it defeating Shields in Strikeforce is quite a big payday and not only that, a win over one of the top submission guys in this sport will only help increase Hendo's stock. What the heck is Dana gonna do after the title fight between Silva and Vitor? yeah he might have the winner of the Bisping/Wand fight up as the next challenger but what after that? The fans of the UFC will surely surely demand a fight between Hendo and whoever emerges the champion and believe me Dana's gonna be more than willing to give Hendo a bigger paycheck just to come back. Any news from that?! :thumbsdownsmiley:I don't know either, but you know what, that's good.. maybe he can bring some attitude when he (if it does happen) fights Gilbert Melendez for the SF LW title.. oh and Kawajiri to fight Josh Thomson too.. Cant wait for those fights.. Maybe they can also put Hellboy against KJ Noons so we can see KJ's ass be handed to him.. Prize Fighter... But what will happen (if a miracle can happen.. hehe) if Shields beats Hendo? That will definitely complete Shields resume for UFC. He, from the get go, have said that he wants to fight in UFC. Im sure that Dana will sign him instantly if that happens.. Quote Link to comment
geneticfreak
Dana said it's Hendo's permanent ticket out of the UFC, but we'll never know, look at Tito.. Yes. Exactly. Apart from being the premier MMA organization in the world the UFC is a business and if there's one thing about a business, it is that nothing's ever permanent especially if change can bring in more ppv buys and can put more asses in seats. Any news from that?! :thumbsdownsmiley:that's for not tapping from the hammerlock & having his arm broken... or just probably they had some trash talk pre fight & Aoki wanted to prove a point to Hirota... or he wanted to avenge the loss of his friend Kitaoka from losing to Hirota for the Sengoku LW belt... or he felt that he should've fought Tatsuya Kawajiri... who knows maybe it's just one of those crazy Japanese plots BTW nice name for a hammerlock... Lets see... Mark Muñoz wins! 1st rd tapout against Ryan Jensen Indeed... On main event.. looks like rashad is playing it safe, it seems that the memory of Machida knockout on him... still lingers... Sure the take down is still there, but the striking seems reluctant... thiago almost got him in third round... Quote Link to comment
The_Blade
^^^ Mark Munoz is a monster... iihi ng dugo yung kalaban nya after a day or two. disappointed with t. silva, he seem not the old silva after his prior loss. rashad was too predictible with his TD but Tsilva did not make adjustment nor counter ala A. silva with knees as soon as the opponent drop and goes for the double leg.. (maybe easier said than done). TS has the chance to KO rashad but too reluctant to strike as he went out of gas and run out of time... tsk tsk. submission of the night: inverted triangle with kimura... first time ever! ray004
Muñoz' perfomance was really impressive. he's not tentative anymore. he's more calculated and his hands are devastating. i felt really sorry for jensen. he was tapping helplessly! Quote Link to comment
kuya willie
Evans- Very Very unimpressive win!! Stalled the action for 2 rounds basically scoring on TD alone. Each time Silva worked is way back up without sustaining ANY damage! I think Rashad landed a total of 0 ground strikes!! TD alone shouldn't score that much! Thiago was gazing a bit because rashad was on him like glue! i was screaming in the 3rd round for Silva to finish Evans but his tank was empty! And even with the W.....loud boooossss accompanied the decision victory of Rashad. I guess fans never forget rashad...im obviously not the only one "hating" on fruit cake Sugar!!! Rampage should knock his glass jaw out!! Quote Link to comment

Too bad his energy was severely depleted and was unable to finish the job Edited January 7, 2010 by tamago Quote Link to comment
