It was so-so ... kinda updated FEEL of Neverending Story (esp. the flying scene). I did see some Youtube interviews of Oprah &/or Reese ... so, only knew from those that this was based off a book. I expected more cool ideas in world development, more complexity in the 3 "witches" and more Oprah. The end twist of the movie was interesting. The message was great. But I did expect more. It's been a while since I saw the movie, so maybe I'll have a different impression when I'm watching more critically, but we watched it when we had not much else to watch. Quote Link to comment
