Guys, may nagla-lako ng lumang Marvel and DC sa Manila. I bought Incredible Hulk 315 (1985) and Action Comics 495 (1979) for 5 Pesos each. I came across "manong" near Robinson's Place Manila and near Philippine Normal University. He said he has a lot of Marvel and DC comics from waaay back. I managed to snag only 2 comics kasi eksaktong 10 Pesos na lng ang extra money ko. Hehehe...

 

The condition is between VF+ to F+. But for only 5 Pesos each? it's a bargain if your into late Silver Age stuff.

 

If maka-Jackpot po kayo, please kahit abutan n'yo si manong ng EXTRA kasi talagang mahirap lang s'ya and 'di n'ya alam na may mga collector's items s'ya.

I liked it in a sense. action-packed. ganun talaga ang gagawin kapag pinatay ang family m tska kaw pa si wolverine. price-wise, no. alam nyo naman si millar may plan yan for multiple volumes. he said so back in an article he's planning more for that stuff. so the issue is like the prologue for his chapter 2. the art is fantastic and well deserved for the wait... the thing is... if you look at it and count the dialogue, not that much, kaya parang feeling bitin. my score on this is like 8.5-9/10

 

Yeah, the price is actually ridiculous. Malakas kasi ang brand ng Marvel kaya alam nila kahit i-set nila ng ganon ang price eh marami pa din ang kakagat. Much like Ultimatum. And yeah, I read na may plan pa for a sequel yan. There goes my money again.

 

I actually liked Millar's Ultimate Comics Avengers now. I never liked Capt. America before but now I'm beginning to like how Millar is writing his character which in my opinion is more badass than the Marvel U Capt. America.
