Norbs, eto yung pics nung mga binebentang box ng DK. Mas mahal yung de-hila version (black box). Napansin ko na may kalumaan na din ang mga box na ito kaya nakakahiya naman sa yo na makipagtrade. Pero kahit luma na eh ok pa din yung mga comics sa loob. Malamang umorder na lang din ako.

Kakasimula lang ng Blackest Night ng DC last month, pwede ka pang humabol. May mga kopya pa sa Comic Odyssey.

 

Sa Marvel naman eh next week pa lang lalabas yung Marvels Project na origin daw ng Marvel Universe. 1940s ang setting nito.

Wala pare. Kakaunti ang indies na dumadating sa Filbars, I doubt if the people there even heard of Chew.. hahaha.. Image naman yan eh, bakit hindi mo i-try sa Comic Quest..

how about yung mga mejo luma na ng arcs, ano ba maganda? Ok ba yung Crisis series or mas maganda yung Civil War?

BTW, ano ba yung pagkakasunod-sunod ng Crisis series, ano na ba ang nauna (Infinite, Final, Identity Crisis)?

Yun yung nakalagay sa Overstreet Guide bro eh.. Nevertheless, maganda mga choices mo.. And I see that you know have that elusive Thor #3.. Buti na naman at nakakuha ka.. Yung Chew #1 na lang ang problema..

 

I decided not to go to the event.. Malaki-laki gastos ko sa NBA Cards ko kasi and as I talked with khumpleetist, parang hindi gaano karami ang Silver/Bronze Age stuff.. Eh yun ang habol ko eh.. Although I would've liked it if I could get my hands on several 80's XMen.. haha.. Kaso, wag na lang muna.. I'd just have to wait for the next Comic Odyssey sale..

 

Well, Sandy has not sent his list yet, but medyo nag-browse na ako sa internet and tentatively here are my pulls:

.. I might get the GL Corps #39 kung maganda ang reviews.. Sa Blackest Night, I am sticking to the core issue and Green Lantern (or if I permit, GL Corps).. I have decided to discontinue my Captain America takes if and when Brubaker leaves the writing helm and stick with Cap-Reborn.. This is also my take on the Daredevil series..

 

I am also sticking with Batman and Robin until Morrison decides to be an a-hole.. hahaha..

 

Kakatapos lang ng War Of Kings series kaso wala akong narinig na ingay ah.. Ano ba yan! Has Black Bolt's voice affected comic-dom? hahaha.. <_<

 

I also have decided to continue Greek Street and not get North 40 issues anymore.. Maganda ang reviews ng Greek Street ng Vertigo and as I browsed through its pages, it seems like its nicely written with nudity.. Kinda has the originality I've been craving for..

@khumpleetist/norbyela/others: Aren't you getting Adventure Comics #1? As stupid as it sounds, but it seems good reviews will be in tow as Geoff Johns is at the writing helm.. Although I have my doubts if this series would create a big impact.. The return of Superboy (Conner Kent) and Impluse (Bart Allen) is as stupid as it gets.. IMO, these characters are lame, and DC should have just let them stay dead.. The resurrection is plain stupid.. Ang gulo.. I don't think I'll be able to really understand the situation even though I'll read the Legion Of Three Worlds series page per page..Haay! DC's multi-verse setting is really crummy.. Atsaka back and forth na lang parati sa time, nakakasawa.. Ngayon si Superboy: Prime nakakatawa din ang ending niya.. Makes me wonder how they would resurrect Bruce Wayne..

 

First time I've spoken ill of a storyline in months.. I've kept it to myself, but when I saw the preview pages of Adventure Comics #1, my mouth went agape.. Connor Kent? Huh?! His own friggin' title? Makes me wonder how on Earth could Johns make this a great read with a lame-o character in every panel.. hahaha.. Let us see..
