Ako din may ilang mga site na pinupuntahan na kagaya n'yan. First day release pa. Naka-book mark kasi sa PC sa bahay, eh. Nandito pa kasi ako sa school. Honestly, medyo nangangapa pa ako sa mga nangyayari ngayon sa Marvel kasi 'di ko akalain na after SI, bad guys pala ang mga magiging darling ng masa. Pero sa mga nabasa ko na issues from SI, TB and ASM, mukhang magaling na leader talaga si Norman. Ang interest ko kasi sa Dark Reign ay si Emma, eh. Medyo naging crush ko siya nung nagbabasa pa ako ng New X-Men ni Morrison. I just read DA #3, wow. Bitin. Pero ang ganda dynamics ni Doom and Iron Patriot. Galing. To answer your query, nabili ko lahat mga yan sa Comic Odyssey nung 3-day sale nila sa Robinsons Galleria a week ago.. Just try to go there and scrimmage through their back issue bins.. Musta na po? Nauubusan po ako ng Azrael #1. Nakabili po ba kayo? I am not planning to get Azrael #1, bro.. Dunno, but parang gusto kong kumuha nung Oracle na series, instead.. Kahit sa Oracle na series, I am having second thoughts pa din eh.. I've read the reviews on Azrael and I sense that DC wants to redeem itself from the last Azrael/JPV series (almost a decade na ito ah).. They've provided a lot of interesting tidbits on the new Azrael.. But I still feel that Battle for the Cowl will be enough to get the whole storyline.. Naubusan ka ba? Try dropping by Comic Quest stores, if ever, dahil dun usually meron pa kapag hindi naman masyadong HOT ang comics.. I feel that underordered lang CO sa Azrael.. The issue kung saan nagkaubusan ang Quest lately ay yung Gaiman na Batman at syempre yung Obama-civer Amaz. Spiderman issue.. Will be thinking it over if I should get Azrael or not.. But I feel that it does not really create much impact sa istorya ng "new" Batman.. Lemme read more reviews.. hahaha.. What do you think? ---- @all: Please visit my photobucket.com account.. Sa ngayon, I buy my cards through e-bay (but I only bid from those local ebay sellers - para meet ups ang pick-up - ayaw ko mailed dahil minsan nawawala yung card), in Courtside, Galleria every Saturday afternoons.. Sa tagal ko na sa hobby na ito, medyo kilala na ako ng mga re-sellers.. So offer lang sila everytime na andun ako sa Galleria.. @all: I've said this before, but I will say this again.. The craftsmanship as a whole (art and storyline) in comicbooks today is top-notch.. In the 80's storylines were great but not the art.. In the 90's baligtad.. Today, its both.. IMO, comicbooks this era will rise in the price guide after a few years.. At ang kinaganda pa, hindi sobra sobra ang interest vs. the interest in the early 90's na puros speculative ang market.. Kaya nung 90's, puro Archie, Funny, and Looney/Tiny Toons ang books ko nun at ilan lang ang Image/DC/Marvel ko nun. I used to collect basketball cards Ang dami kong Kobe (may mga RC pa ako) Duncan, Hill, Garnett, Jordan, dami pa. Pati nga Beckett, monthly talaga akong nagpapabili sa tatay ko. Ngayon bumibili pa din ako Beckett 'pag meron sa Book Sale. 15 Pesos lang kasi sa BS 'yun, eh. I also have NBA-licensed projector slides. I have many of those that have no use to me: Wala naman kasi akong projector, eh. Galing pa ng NBA Asia office. Press kasi tatay ko, eh. Anyone interested? Hehehe. Rare 'yun.
