I also snack a lot. Do you guys have healthier alternatives to the usual snacks (cookies, biscuits, sweets)? Why not try adding more fruits (bananas/apple/peaches)? Add mga nuts din (almonds/walnuts/cashews/peanuts)? As for snacks; try the plant-based ones (kangkong chips/mushroom chips) Ingat lang sa sodium content for some. Also try searching for energy balls (fine oats mixed with peanut butter & cinnamon); that's a staple for endurance runners. On 8/27/2024 at 7:56 PM, Anomynoua said: Fruits. I usually eat a banana to help satiate my hunger or if im feeling peckish. A couple of grapes or apples also helps but if i really feel the urge to eat something unhealthy i just down a pitchel of water just to make me feel full. I concur. Fruits do a lot of good for satiating your appetite... good for the gut health too. Apples and Bananas are the best. Edited October 15, 2024 by HimuraButosay Quote Link to comment

Best answer I have seen! Used to be more than 80 pounds overweight, now 50 pounds to go! I am no expert, but this has helped me. Kat Aglipay also has a useful clip And my inspiration, Dellen Garcia and his 3-year transformation from overweight and unhealthy to a badass US Marine. Great things take time! Quote Link to comment
Bigreddot
Though im generally fit even for my age, there was a time that i did a strictly plant based diet for 5 months. I learned how to prepare my own food and i was surprised to discover that plant based food could be delicious. There was no struggle for me and the craving for meat was just in the first week. Even with just 5 months, i felt i had more energy, stamina and i noticed that i do not tire easily. Quote Link to comment

cloudflux
Hello po. How to do IF, low carb without having constipation? Quote Link to comment
6ftgymrat
all these diets like IF, keto and Paleo etc etc, it all comes down to the same effect, caloric deficit. You may not notice it but these diets automatically puts you in a caloric deficit. IF does have nice benefits, but keep in mind that caloric deficit is always the way to go when cutting down. Weekend cheat days can easily hinder your progress by eliminating your week's deficit. So keep in mind how much calories you consume in surplus during cheat days Quote Link to comment
