SDMNXIX
I think the typical Filipino diet has a lot of simple carbs (white rice, white bread, sugary drinks, etc) which usually rate higher in the glycemic index. So one thing you can do is to switch to complex carbs instead of simple carbs. Try eating more whole grains (whole grain bread instead of white bread), oats, beans, and the like. Mas madali din makabusog ang complex carbs kaya makakatulong din yun to lose weight. Edited March 11, 2023 by SDMNXIX Quote Link to comment

Tipreth
Everytime you eat there will be insulin spike, fasting could probably reverse type 2 diabetes....your choice Quote Link to comment
kbrian
Forget typical filipino staples like rice, pandesal, simple carbs, sugary drinks. Even fruits will spike those blood sugar so eat moderately. Eat meat, eggs, vegetables. Do Intermittent Fastin, para na din makatipod and more funds for MP and Spa 😂. Monitor your sugar level if diabetic. Quote Link to comment
Aries.Maximus
to those people who can't do fasting, nanginginig sila kapag walang food intake, better take berberine hydrochloride, its a supplement to control sugar. or insulin plant, chew 3 fresh leaves a day not only to those diabetic person but to those who want to regulate sweetness 😃 Quote Link to comment
