You become what you become by the series of connected events and circumstances and how those chemicals in your brain reacted to each of them. At each point, you could have taken only one choice from among the multiple available to you, based on those stuff in your brain.

In other words, no matter what choices you have at each point in your life, you will only make a unique singular choice each time, given the same circumstances surrounding it. Which means, you are destined to live the life that you are living - including the changes you make out of your free will, because even the matter of whether you will or will not use your free will, will be governed by the circumstances surrounding that decision point.

Yes I do. I think everything happens for a reason, and it's up to you to use those things to your advantage. You will succeed or fail depending on what you did with the opportunities presented to you.

 

At first this was just a joke phrase I often use to annoy or explain things that I can't explain, but after being alive for x years, reading x articles about life, experiencing x events and other x shits, I come to a conclusion that everything indeed happens for a reason.

I beleive in doing your best with what is given to you. Not all people are created equal, but all people are equally given chances, and how you handle these chances that are given to you is what makes you destined.

Nope. We choose our own path. It is not chosen for us beforehand. However, chance does exist, and by chance I mean events you have no control over --- natural calamities, accidents, being at the wrong place at the wrong time, etc. So yes, we control our own destiny, but to a certain extent. Because there is a whole world out there which moves at its own pace. And so the best we can do is make the best decisions we could given whatever situation the world leaves us in.

Destiny is bigger than us, it exists but is beyond our control. It's like you get to choose from the different paths and roads to travel ahead, thinking you are making your own choices as you go along. Zoom out you will see that the map will takes you exactly where you will end up -- at that destination.
