I think it's normal to want someone who is well-off, or at least, okay ang financial standing. It also goes both ways...  for males and females.

Why would I want to go with someone na aasa lang? The person should have brains, works hard, has drive, etc. Otherwise, you'll both go down. That's on top of the usual physical attributes - looks (magaling magdala), smells good, not too fat or thin, etc. 

Even outside MTC, to look for someone na who's doing okay in life makes perfect sense @kikomatsingmatos @menyeks

may punto ka dyan par. kaya nga sa palagay ko halos walang thera ang hahayaan ang sarili nilang mahulog ang damdamin sa mga katulad naming dukha. kaya if ever man sigurong mahulog kaming mahihirap sa thera, hanggang dun nalang siguro yun at ibabrush away nalang yung feelings.

hindi ko nilalahat ng thera at ng mga mahihirap dyan sa sinabi ko. at hindi rin ibig sabihin ganyan mismo gagawin ko. example lang par.

bro mga Jowa ng thera nakikita ko wala namang bigtime. Pero pinipili nila yung mga walang potensyal maging parokyano ng flesh market. mg nakita ko na jowa ng thera: Service crew, Rapper, Gamer mga ganun. Not big time but not a potential customer to these kinds of establishments. lol

Alam ni jowa na nagtatrabho si thera sa industry. Pero d alam ni jowa  kung anong milagro ginagawa ni thera pag on duty. Kung sakale nalaman ni jowa ang milagro sa loob ng spa o MP, nakuha niya info sa mga barkada. O kaya niyaya ng barkada si jowa na magpa "massage".

I think most GMs with thera GFs know what the ladies do. This is MTC, we all go here knowing what we will find.

My exes were top theras and GROs, i knew exactly what their jobs entailed. But it is when I began to see them as more than sex objects that things developed into samthng more.

Sex is the easy part, after all, thats how u meet these ladies. Seeing them as more than that is the bigger challenge, but once you do, then you know things just got real. 

It doesnt even have to be romantic relationships. These are people you can  have genuine friendships with. I got former theras na Ninong ako ng mga anak nila and are still close to me up to this day. Believe it or not, their current partners even know at some point b4, i fucked their GFs. Again, its about seeing past the flesh and appreciating their totality as real people.
