Serial Killer
Tekken: The Movie Screen Gems, the genre arm of Sony Pictures, will begin filming a $50 million version of the popular video game this fall. Dimension had originally picked up the rights to TEKKEN at last year's Cannes Film Festival but was dropped as they downsized to prepare for their divorce of Disney. So a movie based on a fighting game, huh? Doesn't sound all too stellar but here's some good news. The script will be written by Michael Colleary and Mike Werb (FACE/OFF), two all-around good writers, and directed by Charles Stone (MR. 3000). Quote Link to comment
