Luke Goss spoke to MTV recently about the upcoming TEKKEN movie that pretty much no one is interested in hearing about. Still, I'll bite, since I used to play the game obsessively, and much like STREET FIGHTER: THE LEGEND OF CHUN LI, have at least some vested interest in how it turns out.

“The same producers were very adamant to make sure that the characters that were in the game translated quite literally to the movie — visually and everything... Their fight styles were studied and the way they looked, the producers wanted people that looked similar to the actual characters in the game. They understood that genre fans and game fans would want that. I think they did a good job.”

Megan Fox spoke to IGN recently and revealed that TRANSFORMERS 2 will actually have almost twice the budget that the first film had. I don't know how much exactly was spent making the first one, but conservatives estimates have the figure between $50 million, and a squillion dollars. She also speaks a little bit about her character:

"It's two years later, so when it comes out it will be present day. Shia and I have been dating for two years, so it's kind of like old news. There's no big love scenes or anything like that – you kind of get into the couple bickering now. That stage, like the old married couple. That's all I can say!"

Diary of the Dead 2:

The “diary” saga continues. Our heroes, trapped in the mansion where we left them, battle waves of ravenous zombies, barely escaping alive. In search of a safe place to settle, they commandeer an abandoned ferry and sail to a deserted island, only to find that it is already populated by a civilization of the dead. Told in the same first-person style that distinguished “George A. Romero's Diary of the Dead”, the next episode of the saga is a violent siege set in the middle of nowhere, a desperate struggle for survival, and peace, between two tribes: the living and the living dead.

A Nightmare on Elm Street (remake):

New Line has taken a step forward in bringing Freddy back to the big screen. The Warner Bros. division has hired veteran scribe Wesley Strick to pen the relaunch of the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" series, the franchise that helped establish New Line into a movie player in the mid-1980s. The original "Nightmare" was written and directed by Wes Craven and released in 1984. It created one of the most popular villains in screen history, Freddy Krueger, played by Robert Englund, and its runaway success spawned a slew of sequels.

The films' premise centered on Krueger, a serial child killer murdered who returns with a burned face and razor glove to terrorize teens in their dreams. The new project will keep the high school setting and delve deeper in the psychology of nightmares and Krueger himself. The plan is to have a dark tone. The company hopes to have the movie ready for the 25th anniversary of the original.
