sickness
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspianhttp://img91.imageshack.us/img91/8419/posternarniaforeign1he5.jpg http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/1664/posternarniaforeign2zm4.jpg http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/2968/posternarniaforeign3pa1.jpg Edge of Darkness:Mel Gibson will star in a remake of the acclaimed six-hour 1985 BBC mini-series "Edge of Darkness" for GK Films. Martin Campbell ("Casino Royale," "Goldeneye," "The Mask of Zorro") helmed the original mini-series and is set to return to the director's chair for this new incarnation. Mixing crime drama, political conspiracy and science-fiction, the original followed straitlaced police investigator Ronald Craven (Bob Peck) investigating the brutal killing of his activist daughter Emma (Joanne Whalley). Craven's investigations soon lead him into a murky world of Government and corporate cover-ups and nuclear espionage, pitting him against dark forces that threaten the future of life on Earth. The series took some decidedly strange turns in its final episode with the ending that was originally planned (but later dropped) having Craven turn into a tree. Race to Witch Mountain:Kim Richards ("Black Snake Moan") and Ike Eisenmann ("Howl's Moving Castle"), the original kid stars of Disney's 1970s "Witch Mountain" movies, have joined the cast of Disney's remake "Race to Witch Mountain". In a nod to the original movies, Eisenmann plays a sheriff and Richards plays a waitress at a roadhouse called Ray's in a town called Stony Creek. They help a cabbie (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) and his two paranormal-powered passengers (AnnaSophia Robb and Alexander Ludwig). Tom Everett Scott, Chris Marquette, Billy Brown and Cheech Marin also recently joined the production which Andy Fickman is helming. Scott is playing a medical specialist, Marquette is a computer specialist, and Brown is a military specialist working for the bad guy (Ciaran Hinds). Marin plays a helpful mechanic. Land of the Lost:Will Ferrell stars as has-been scientist Dr. Rick Marshall, sucked into one and spat back through time. Way back. Now, Marshall has no weapons, few skills and questionable smarts to survive in an alternate universe full of marauding dinosaurs and fantastic creatures from beyond our world--a place of spectacular sights and super-scaled comedy known as the Land of the Lost. Sucked alongside him for the adventure are crack-smart research assistant Holly (Anna Friel) and a redneck survivalist (Danny McBride) named Will. Chased by T. rex and stalked by painfully slow reptiles known as Sleestaks, Marshall, Will and Holly must rely on their only ally--a primate called Chaka (Jorma Taccone)--to navigate out of the hybrid dimension. Escape from this routine expedition gone awry and they're heroes. Get stuck, and they'll be permanent refugees in the Land of the Lost. Based on the classic television series created by Sid & Marty Krofft, Land of the Lost is directed by Brad Silberling and produced by Jimmy Miller and Sid & Marty Krofft. http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/6835/sleestakslc1.jpg Dolan's Cadillac:Christian Slater (Alone in the Dark) and Wes Bentley (P2) are set to headline and Emmanuelle Vaugier (Saw II, Saw IV) will play the female lead in an adaptation of Stephen King's short story Dolan's Cadillac. "Dolan's Cadillac" is a thriller about a man (Bentley), who plots to avenge the murder of his wife (Vaugier) by notorious and untouchable Las Vegas mob boss Jimmy Dolan (Slater). Erik Canuel is directing "Dolan's Cadillac" from an adaptation written by Richard Dooling. Production is scheduled to begin May 14. Resurrection:Universal has picked up the film rights to the comic book series "Resurrection". "Eli Stone" co-creator Marc Guggenheim penned the story which centers on a group of survivors trying to take back control of the planet after an apocalyptic alien invasion. Guggenheim will executive produce the adaptation. The third issue of the comic has just hit stores. Red:An older, reclusive man's best friend and inspiration for living is his 14-year-old dog named "Red". When three troublesome teens k*ll the dog for no good reason, the grieving man sets out for justice and redemption by whatever means available to him. Tolkien's The Hobbit. Guillermo del Toro will direct the two films based on The Hobbit. Filming will begin in 2009, with tentative release dates set of 2010 for the first film and 2011 for the sequel. Transformers 2:According to rumors, Jonah Hill is in talks to co-star with Shia LaBeouf in TRANSFORMERS 2. Hill would play Chuck, Sam Witwicky's Princeton roommate. Chuck runs a conspiracy theory website and as Sam is drawn back into the world of the Transformers, Chuck is shocked to learn that some of his conspiracies are true. Hill is the first new addition to the cast that has leaked out. You can also expect a new love interest and Sam's brother Eric to be cast in the coming weeks. Michael Bay is gearing up to begin filming on TRANSFORMERS 2 this summer with Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, the writers on the first film, teaming with Ehren Kruger (THE RING) for the script. Twilight:"Twilight" tells the story of 17-year-old Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) who moves to the small town of Forks, Washington to live with her father, and becomes drawn to Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a pale, mysterious classmate who seems determined to push her away. But neither can deny the attraction that pulls them together... even when Edward confides that he and his family are vampires. Their unorthodox romance puts her in physical danger when Edward's nemesis comes to town and sets his sights on Bella. Dread:Writer/director Anthony DiBlasi will be handling the transition with Seraphim Films producing. From Volume 2 of the collection, DREAD tells the tale of Quaid, a student of philosophy, who is obsessed by his own nightmare of an ax-murdering clown so he concocts a series of experiments to observe firsthand how other people react to the things that most horrify them. But while Quaid slowly unpeels the psyches of his imprisoned and tortured captives like a reeking onion, his own dread waits, just beyond his control. Art of the Devil (remake):It was announced tonight that Cerenzie-Peters Productions has picked up remake rights to the Thai hit horror series Art of the Devil, whose third installment debuted as the No. 1 movie in the Asian country. CP principals Michael Cerenzie and Christine Peters are producing alongside Eric Thompson and Tim Kwok of Convergence Entertainment. While each installment of the series follows a new story line, what links them are the themes of revenge, black magic and mysterious deaths. CP will begin by focusing on the second installment, which featured a group of high school kids who fall victim to supernatural tattoos. Dylan Dog:Brandon Routh is to star in DEAD OF NIGHT, based on the European comic series DYLAN DOG. Routh is set to play NIGHT's lead hero Dylan Dog. It's about Dylan who's a nightmare investigator and primarily in this film we're going to be involved with zombies and werewolves and vampires and some activity that occurs there creating comedy, action, horror and the thrills ensue. sickness
Transformers 2:Teresa Palmer has today joined the cast of the upcoming sequel to TRANSFORMERS. You might remember that Palmer was allegedly to play Talia Al-Ghul in the unholy JUSTICE LEAGUE film before that collapsed. She also will be seen in the upcoming Adam Sandler flick BEDTIME STORIES. Hancock:Check out the new movie trailer...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uc7chztoVQ4 Clock Tower:Senator Entertainment is set to produce “Clock Tower,” based on Capcom’s bestselling survival horror video game series, for the Weinstein Co. Senator’s Marco Weber will produce with Martin Weisz (“The Hills Have Eyes 2”) directing from a script by Eric Poppen (“Borderland”). The pic will employ elements of all of the “Clock Tower” games, although the story will be based mainly on “Clock Tower 2: The Struggle Within,” in which the heroine finds herself locked up in a psychiatric hospital as she tries to escape the curse that has haunted her family for generations. The Pet:David Silverman, who most recently helmed "The Simpsons Movie," has signed on to develop and direct "The Pet," a live-action sci-fi family comedy for Disney. Scott Rudin and Craig Perry are producing. The project, written by Matt Lieberman, centers on an everyday guy who becomes the pet of a group of aliens. Silverman, a longtime director-producer of Fox's "The Simpsons," directed DreamWorks' "El Dorado" in 2000 and co-directed Pixar's "Monsters, Inc." in 2001. Descent 2:U.K. indie shingle Celador Films is reuniting with French-owned and U.K.-based Pathe on a sequel to low-budget boxoffice hit "The Descent." The Neil Marshall horror flick claimed $57 million at the boxoffice, a sizable return on the original investment on a movie budgeted at less than $10 million. Produced by Marshall and Christian Colson, "Descent 2" marks the directorial debut for its predecessor's editor, Jon Harris. Based on a script by James Watkins ("My Little Eye"), the $10 million sequel will shoot more than eight weeks on location in Scotland and at London's Ealing Studios. The stars of the original film, Shauna MacDonald and Natalie Mendoza, will reprise their roles, alongside Gavan O'Herlihy, Joshua Dallas, Anna Skellern, Douglas Hodge and Krysten Cummings. sickness
The Dark Knight:Check out the new movie trailer in HD... http://www.whysoserious.com/happytrails/trailer.htm Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull:The studio has sent over a new and revised synopsis for the upcoming Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The newest Indiana Jones adventure begins in the desert Southwest in 1957 – the height of the Cold War. Indy and his sidekick Mac (Ray Winstone) have barely escaped a close scrape with nefarious Soviet agents on a remote airfield. Now, Professor Jones has returned home to Marshall College – only to find things have gone from bad to worse. His close friend and dean of the college (Jim Broadbent) explains that Indy’s recent activities have made him the object of suspicion, and that the government has put pressure on the university to fire him. On his way out of town, Indiana meets rebellious young Mutt (Shia LaBeouf), who carries both a grudge and a proposition for the adventurous archaeologist: If he’ll help Mutt on a mission with deeply personal stakes, Indy could very well make one of the most spectacular archaeological finds in history – the Crystal Skull of Akator, a legendary object of fascination, superstition and fear. Ninja Assassin:Rick Yune (FAST AND THE FURIOUS) has been cast as the antagonist in NINJA ASSASSIN, which is shaping up to be one of next year's cooler films. Naomi Harris (MIAMI VICE) is also onboard the film, which is produced by the Wachowskis. The martial arts extravaganza stars Korean actor-singer Rain (SPEED RACER) as a man brought up in an orphanage functioning as a ninja farm. The man turns his back on his tradition to make his way in the modern world, which brings him into conflict with a ninja (Yune) from the clan. Obsessed:Christine Lahti, Bruce McGill (Vantage Point) and Scout Taylor-Compton (Halloween, April Fool's Day) will join the previously announced Beyonce Knowles, Ali Larter and Idris Elba in Sony Screen Gems' Obsessed, which begins lensing May 5 in Los Angeles, CA. In the film directed by Steven Shill, Elba will play an asset manager who has a knockout wife (Knowles) and thriving career until a temp office worker (Larter) begins stalking him. The screenplay was written by David Loughery. Quote Link to comment

When we were initially told the news (probably the same night as other websites reporting this), we checked in with Bousman who still denies that he will have anything to do with the return of Pinhead. Antibodies (remake):Based on the original script by Kevin Waehner, ANTIBODIES is about a serial killing pederast who is caught after a violent shoot out with police. But there is still an unsolved murder of a young girl in a small town. Could he have done it? Or could he be the key to finding out who did? A mind game ensues between the cop from the girl's town and the deranged serial killer in this intense psychological thriller. sickness
The First Avenger: Captain AmericaMatthew McConaughey is rumored to be the front runner for Marvel's early 2011 superhero project "The First Avenger: Captain America". The character's real name is Steve Rogers, a sickly young man who was enhanced to the peak of human perfection by an experimental serum in order to aid the United States war effort during the Second World War. The solution seems to be repositioning the character and placing the emphasis on his role as the leader of 'The Avengers'. The character will team up with Iron Man, Hulk and Thor in that film opening a few weeks later in July 2011. Terminator Salvation: The Future BeginsCommon has signed on to co-star in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins. The movie stars Christian Bale as John Connor, now in his 30s, who leads what is left of the human race in a battle against the machines. Common will play a freedom fighter and member of Connor's inner circle. Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin and Moon Bloodgood also star. McG will direct from a script by John D. Brancato & Michael Ferris and Paul Haggis. The movie is scheduled for a May 2009 release. The Knights Templar:Universal Pictures has picked up Adam Torchia and Justin Stanley's spec script "The Knights Templar". The Middle Ages-set horror film follows the famed Knightly order who, returning from the Crusades, are forced to fend off an invading vampire army set on destroying the Holy Grail. "Wanted" and "Night Watch" director Timur Bekmambetov will produce along with Marc Platt. Iron Sky:Towards the end of World War II the staff of SS officer Hans Kammler made a significant breakthrough in anti-gravity. From a secret base built in the Antarctic, the first Nazi spaceships were launched in late ‘45 to found the military base Schwarze Sonne (Black Sun) on the dark side of the Moon. This base was to build a powerful invasion fleet and return to take over the Earth once the time was right. The year is 2018. Things are looking good for Renate on the Nazi moon base. For all her life, she has worked hard to be a productive member of the Fourth Reich, and now, her dreams are coming true. Renate is to travel to Earth on a secret mission with her fiancé, the handsome and high-ranking Klaus, a true Nazi down to his jackboots. Their mission: to assassinate the president of the United States, Jenna Bush. Renate finds Earth not to be the pit of depravity Klaus had described. Suddenly, bombing this world back to the stone age doesn’t seem like a good idea at all. But the Nazi invasion is on its way, and the world is goose-stepping towards its doom. Bangkok Dangerous (remake):http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/9669/bangkokdangerousver2ac0.jpg Twilight:http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/1142/posterexclusivexy6.jpg X-Files 2:http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/219/posterxfilespolishjf7.jpg rumors....First up, apparently, in Gotham, for the third BATMAN film, The Joker is out. Like completely out. No re-casting. Instead we'll get a film that continues with Two Face, and possibly... sees the introduction of Robin? Also: Nolan is doing a Guillermo del Toro, and getting out after 3. Second, apparently one of the plot lines being pushed for the IRON MAN sequel has Jackson’s Nick Fury enlisting the help of Tony Stark in going after a terrorist called The Mandarin. And the best bit is that The Mandarin will have at his disposal, an inter-galactic dragon called Fing Fang Foom. Quote Link to comment
